. . . Can you feel the rare and moving expression about 'Love'? Do you see 'credible' and adult characters being portrayed? It's not fairytale nor melodramatic. And, at @ 10:28 there's Belyakov and Zacharova, and they show loving expressions with their affectionate kisses ❤❤❤❤❤! Aah, . . if there are no such distinctions and no hierarchies, . . then Belyakov's Enigma Pages nails it ❤❤❤! I love Zacharova & Belyakov ❤❤❤. Huge compliments to @ BB, you got everyone thinking; and thanks again ❤❤😊.
Thank you so much for fulfilling our (my) demand to see more modern choreographers and pieces. Excellent choice of Neumeier’s Anna Karenina with Belyakov and Zakharova who actually asked Neumeier to create this ballet for her. A perfect example of a neoclassical interpretation of the character of Anna both powerful and taken away by her passion for her lover Vronski. He concentrated on the feelings and that pas de deux with those amazing portés have an incredible erotic strength. That’s his talent. He did the same with La Dame aux Camélias. He didn’t betray Tolstoï at all. The seagull and Enigma are also very enjoyable. Thank you. Keep going in that direction. There’s so much to discover. I’m very grateful to you for dedicating me this video. Thank you 🙏 ❤😊
@@TheBunduBallerina I also find enjoyable to have a full piece of a ballet instead of a succession of exploits with applause. You can get into the spirit of the ballet more deeply. But it's only my opinion. ❤
Zakharova sempre eccellente ❤ Mi piacciono queste coreografie che utilizzano il movimento plastico degli interpreti come parte integrante della coreografia stessa. È una commistione davvero interessante. Svetlana Zakharova ha consapevolezza di questo e utizza il corpo in modo notevolmente espressivo...mi piiace molto qui anche al di cuori degli schemi dei ruoli romantici.
Don't like Neumeier's Anna Karenina, but Svetlana Zakharova and Artemy Belyakov are perfection. As far as Neumeier's choreography, talk about destroying the nuance, period, and times of Leo Tolstoy.
I love Rodion Shchedrin's Anna Karenina, for me the staging is so clever it upholds the the nuance of the period, and really enhances the story and the drama of the story.
Frederick Ashton choreography for Enigma Variations - same as Enigma Pages?! Again Artemy Belyakov and Svetlana Zakharova are amazing - sublime - not many, if any will surpass Svetlana in The Seagull and the Enigma Variations. Same as all modern ballet - more so contemporary dance - one has to read the plot/libretto to find out what the h. the choreography/ballet is all about.

Elgar, a very famous composer. Shchedrin, too. I am not a huge fan of modern ballet either, but watching the incredibly beautiful dancer, Svetlana Zakharova, with her gorgeous, ballet-toned body, and the wonderful Artemy Belyakov in these two modern excerpts is a pleasure.
