If you look at the way she did it for “MTV unplugged” and then on her “Fantasy: Live” she changed the key on several parts. However, most of her songs are usually lowered to sustain singing for over an hour multiple times a week. I’ve seen her live and can say she still has her “Honey Era” maybe even “Fantasy Era” voice if she’s not wearing a corset or spanx. Her breath control in them is basically nonexistent and breath control is a major component of her voice and range.
