My braun series 3040s pro skin shaver has been becoming red for a long time thanks for walking me through on how to fix it, I haven’t been using it in a while
It works as your video show. However, the battery replacement I ordered from Amazon is a little different than the original battery. Therefore, I had to make some try to fit it properly. At the end I got it done following your video. Thanks!
May I ask what model of Eneloop battery you used to replace the batteries in the Braun 3040s (as shown in this video)? I've been searching for them but haven't found any Eneloop batteries with both terminals suitable for shavers (they only have one protruding terminal and one flat terminal).
I have a model 5414 and a model 5416. I see from the videos they contain two 1.2 volt NimH batteries. The curious thing is that Braun labels them on the outside of the case (you have to raise teh long-hair trimmer to read it) as "3.5 volts". Can't figure out how they came up wtih 1.2 x 2 ==3.5. Maybe 3.5 is the charging voltage?
Unfortunately this is video is not very .... medium quality. Many occasions the hand is hiding the thing we want to view. There is no verbal comments, and the background music is useless, I put it mute. It looks more as an improvisation than a well structured dismount. Also you show the battery type (Ni-MH), but I do not clearly see the battery model, size and voltage, so I cannot look in advance where to find the battery replacement before to dismount. You do not suggest a reference for the battery replacement, so I had to do additional search to validate.

80% of this video is your fingers and knuckles. Any chance of having the camera person actually shoot what you are doing instead of your hands?
Thank you for your video.
I changed battery using IKEA rechargeable battery. Although I break some small parts, It works!
Nice view of fingers and hand 🙂
You're weird
the batterie are just a AA type rechargable??
No, they have pin terminals.
Can I use regular aa rechargeables?
I did and just taped them in place, otherwise they fell out inside!
Inside chip is burnt... what to do
Tolles Video. Ein Rasierer wird angeschaltet. Was soll uns das sagen?
Just completed the replacement thank you. Word of warning though... I snapped one of the two main screws by over tightening... oops.
THX
Too many views of operator's hand hiding parts of shaver!
