Mirror Universe Trek being "just Star Wars" is actually a pretty good take. The alternate universe where they aren't actually evil, they're just soap opera fantasy and overdramatic about it.
As for citations sorting by voyage seems like a more efficient way of using the "Citation planner" on Datacore which didn't get mentioned here, but I've heard is generally not great in its current form. This advice all sounds a lot better than "pick a random person and boost them up for novelty reasons alone".

I started to go into the Cite Planner but wound up cutting it for time. It can do a fair job for certain rosters and it is clear the DC team has put time and care into improving it. However the fundamentals of honing a roster are what I would rather teach, than to just rely on the "easy button."

@@dangevin This seems like a worthwhile topic for a future video - deep dive using pros and cons of each method, going all the way through (but maybe editing such that you're presenting a list at the start of the video of "crew I'm considering citing") to a final decision or at least showing how you whittle down a list of 10+ crew in consideration to maybe the top two or three that you would actually cite up!
