I gave up on drawing/ sketching, i gave up on playing my instruments my guitar, my bass, drums have just been sitting theyre collecting dust for 10 years i used to play them every and draw every chace i got i thought that part of my life was passed but for whatever reason your video came up in my feed now its all i been thinking about, its like a part of my life is trying to come back
I would give anything to be able to play instruments again but I’m too disabled now. Don’t give up on your artistic creations when you have the ability.

Beautiful video, beautiful sketches!!! An artist friend of mine has been travelling Europe for many years now. He finishes entire sketchbooks filled with ink drawings of people, paintings and sculptures from museums etc. We meet every couple of months or so at a local restaurant and show each other's work in our sketchbooks. I hope to go to Croatia someday. My grandparents came to the US in their 20s from Croatia. They started a new life far from all that they knew. What an adventure! Thanks for sharing your trip with us. As a watercolor artist I’m always afraid to paint plein air. This is inspiring me to just go to my local downtown and try a sketch or two. I hope your trip was all you dreamed it was. ❤God bless!
I had that expirience last year...I made a trip to Italy...my plan was to see the gardino del tarotio from Niki de Saintphalle...did not happen so its stil on my list...but I went to Florence to see the Ufizien...boy was I impressed...and my final stay was in Venece. There I realiced a childhood dream...I blow my own glass...and I was excited for sure...it was soooo great and I really hope to do it again.
Ahhh I've been waiting for this one! You inspired me to start planning my own organized art retreat. Perhaps within the next couple years, I can make that dream a reality! ❤

I studied in Moscow for a while and the vintage buildings and old folks huddling for a game or over paper is a common sight there as well. Nice video ❤
It’s been over 12 years since I was in Split and this just brought back so many memories. I cannot wait to see Krka from this trip. Also, you always look so poised and elegant when painting whereas my body thinks it’s a cross between a croissant and a pretzel whenever I’m painting.

Ok definitely gonna finish this video a little later but have to say the sketch of the building at the 4 minutes mark remind me of a sketch that just wouldn't leave my head lol I've always wanted to try it and when I did I definitely had trials and tribulation but I still like the way it's coming out 😁

I've seen some of the most gorgeous coastal shots in my life taken along the med coast in Croatia. I never knew it was that beautiful till I saw those. Then I understood why the Middle Class in Britain was buying up ALL the houses there through the 90's and early 2000's, till the Crotatian government put a stop to it (same way Canada did with the Chinese middle class!). If you look at the country geographically it makes sense. Italy and Switzerland bordering, and the North East cost of the Med, etc. Good sketching!
I don't know how you managed to do the painting of Danino's with so much interruption, but it's lovely to see how gracious you are towards those who speak to you. Croatia is a beautiful place.
