I was present at the inaugural prog this year & day 2 as well. What a festival! Nothing like this anywhere in India..wish it was easier to get to Nagaland from Mumbai. Wish I was there longer.

Hornbill birds are so obedient that it would guest its majestic display on the arena.😂😂 Hornbill festival is attributed to hornbill bird but the festival is for the people of Nagaland not for the bird. 🤷♀️🤷♀️
@@dakuboss7509 I think you didn't studied even LKG(Lower kindergarten) coz even though it is about people and culture from different aspects of life, still then the festival name itself is HORNBILL Festival. There4 atleast there should be a real HORNBILL BIRD which will make it more Significant and give more Attraction for the Festive Season.

Maybe I skipped that knowledge in LKG because I was in LKG before the years the idea of hornbill festival was conceived. However, I'm well informed about the fact and the idea behind the hornbill festival. Now, you are well aware that hornbill is simply an abstract title because of it's importance in our traditional folk tales. So basically, there does not necessarily have to have hornbill bird to celebrate hornbill festival by the Nagas and we are not the only one that does it, everywhere it's the same. That's your catch line. Anyway, pessimistic people like yourself will try to find loophole at every issue, I don't blame you but I blame the poor educational environment that you are brought up and conditioned with. 🥱🥱 Btw having hornbill bird or not makes the festival no less significant.
