My favorite part is just before the growls, the person reacting ALWAYS states how mellow and groovy the song is just before the EXPLOSION!!!🤣🤣

What screamo part? You can call it harsh vocals, screams, growls or guttural vocals but not screamo. Screamo is type of music, not a vocal technique.

Great reaction Maddy, loved it. The look on your face when Tatiana went into the chorus had me grinning ear to ear. I remember another TH-camr described it as having 'factory reset' her brain when she heard it. You face looked very much like that is what happened. As others have said Jinger is definitely a rabbit hole to explore for sure. Home Back is definitely one to listen to as well.

One of my favorite bands to see live. Just saw them last week and it was glorious. I’ve only heard them play this song once tho, and it was magical.
Addictive song. Dreamlike underwater sound and then flips to predatory waters. Scream vocals with lyrical context and a tight skillful band all round. Awesomeness!!!!! 👌👍🤘🤘🤘

Omg...JINJER has been my jam for about three years. I the contrast they have in many of their songs and Tatiana is a beast on the vocals not to mention every member the band is top-notch the songs are written well and all have deep lyrics.

I got to see Jinjer last year and I was sooooooooooo disappointed they didn't play this one. I was gutted, but... in all fairness they had just dropped their new album and were touring to promote it. Still, this is their most well known song!
I've dug back into the ginger archive about as far as you can... Prior to Tatiana joining the band in 2010 I think it was they had a male singer.
And sometime before 2010 Tatiana was doing a all Nirvana cover band but doing everything reggae style.. and yes you can find those videos on TH-cam. No growling in those songs but you can tell she's got something special in her vocal in her personality !

Glad you showed up for this and correct that they have been together since about 2011 with the drummer Vlad joining in 2016.From the conflicted and now war torn eastern Ukraine they have been touring with their governments blessing for humanitarian aid.They are great people and very dedicated and hard working and always go 100%.Hope you do more ✌️

hello. Nice reaction. Technically she is not doing scream here, but growl (in chorus fasle cords, in last part "undeterminated method, 'experts" are divided :) ). She can also scream. She is one of the most amazing vocalist. She can go deeper and more brutal than most male vocalistes, sing like a pop star, and switch between one an other in a split second. The 3 guys are also top. they write very techinical songs, and play perfectly live. (sry if my English is not perfect, I'm Belgian so ... ;) )

PS - Tatiana doesn't love this version (that everyone reacts to) because there is a little bit of production mixed in. It was a surprise to them that it blew up so big among TH-cam reaction channels. She went and did a true one-take of *Judgement & Punishment* which is incredible. You get a great look at her technique, posture, breathing, everything. Highly recommend!

@@MaddyReactions Well Maddy, maybe it's just me being from an older generation but 'screamo' just sounds offenssive. I've heard this from a number of younger reactors, so maybe it's fine with the younger generation. To me it just sounds a bit disrespectful, as though you are saying they are just screaming. Tatiana in particular is far more than that.
