    I split a pack of 100 X-40 balls with some friends, so currently using those. They are also the most common in my area. Thanks for the giveaway and all the effort you put in for the PB community. Much appreciated.

    Hi John & Eddie, Happy 40th podcast. Nice looking Melin John. I really loved all the info in todays podcast, especially the power paddle comparisons. I've been playing a J2KTi and finding that the Vulcan Pro Flight is becoming my go to and X-40 would be 2nd choice.
    Thank you guys! Hoping to become one of the 6 next time. 😊

    Love the podcast. I look forward to it every week. I’m currently playing the Franklin X-40 ball, since it’s ubiquitous and relatively consistent. I’m impressed with the giveaway participation. It’s pretty nice that Joola and Pickleball Central are allowing a lucky winner to choose any in stock paddle. Keep up the great work.

    I love what you are doing on the podcast! I’m another boring X-40 user because it’s the most commonly used ball in my area and I don’t want to have to switch back and forth. Keep up the excellent work!

    Great stuff as usual John and Eddie!. I haven't played with it a ton, although I'd say my preferred ball is the Onix Dura Fast 40 (love the speed and ability to spin this ball).

    Generally play with the Franklin X-40 since that's the ball of choice for most of the people I play with. When my husband and I practice/drill together, we use the balls at the courts that are in the ball basket that are mostly used duras. Always enjoy the podcasts. You and Eddie do a great job. Happy Holidays!!

    I am playing the Core ball these days based on your review. Your ball durability review timing was perfect, as I cracked a ball just before I watched that episode and wanted something more durable but still a little on the soft side. Thanks for all you guys do.

    Absolutely love everything you guys are doing! Really hope more people become more engaged in the community and the forums. As far as balls, I’d probably go with the Franklin, but the Selkirk a close second. After playing with Selkirk, Vulcans, and Lifetimes balls, a Franklin feels like a rock, it’s so much harder and stiffer. Pros and cons to that.

  • @MattyRut2922
    @MattyRut2922 วันที่ผ่านมา

    With good weather, I stick with the X-40s. When it gets real hot however, the X-40 turns to a marshmallow, so when it is super hot the Gamma Chuck is the best. When it is around freezing or lower, the X-40's turn brittle. My cold weather ball is the Selkirk S-1's... which I learned about thanks to John's testing!

    Always an amazing podcast. My favorite ball to play with is a CORE. I find it to be super reliable when it comes to keeping it's shape and bounce, but you can never go wrong with the X-40. What I like about the x-40 is also the engraving of the X in the ball so you can expect how it plays. The newer shiny balls have no indication after extensive play so it's always a guess on what ball you're playing with unless it's a x-40 or S1

    Another great pod guys! Thanks!!
    I play mainly with Franklin X40s, but on cold mornings I’ve purchased Selkirk Pro S1’s for their crack resistance. The X40’s have good bounce and aren’t too stiff, feel just right to me. Not as hot as some which I like. But they crack like crazy in cold weather, so go to S1s then.
