@@abcdef-l2c8t ranking dogs based on what they are “made for” is just gross to me. it’s a living thing that has no idea what it was made for, even if unnatural. you can be upset about the culture of the breeding of these animals but seeing them as lesser for that is pretty sickening. what was the dog supposed to do? not be born? it’s alive now and that makes it equal. comparing dogs to plants is also dumb.
@@hereticsox to me it's grose to fund an industry of perverts creating and perpetuating deformaties and illnesses in creatures that became a mockery of canines. Some of them, like the french bulldog have been deformed not just to have respiratory problems, but to not be able to breed on their own. In many cases, the male cannot mount the female properly and in a majority of cases they require a c-section. But im "gross" for contrasting that with the beauty, intelligence, athleticism, usefulness, drive and bidfulness of breeds like the border collie, the malinois and the australian cattle dog. I have bought zero dogs and adopted two mutts that were not deformed as a shi tzu. I like the working dogs alot but I have neither the need for their abilities nor time to keep them stimulated.
My mom got into “hobby farming” with goats, thinking she’d breed them for the milk….and then realized it broke her heart every time she had to give kids to new homes 😅 so we had a lot of goats at one point, and did not get a new breeding buck after he passed
my mom did something similar with stray cats .. we’d miss their timing to get fixed, and definitely had with 30+ country cats living around the house 😂
that first puppy being unsure about Maya bc scary new person but still wagging her whole body as she ducks back under the barn is lethally cute, good god what a sweet lil nervous baby
I love hearing Eric talk about his dogs so much. It’s so nice getting to hear someone older go into so much detail on their passion and help preserve that. It makes me miss my grandfather and his farm and stories on the front porch
What got me out being rescue-only crazy, years ago were the ldg owners online, so passionate about healthy dogs being on this planet in 100 years. So cool!
I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with androgyny, but his voice sounds like a man's voice to me. but yes, usually people with age go either super positive or super negative
We had an Anatolian for a while at the rescue I used to work at (too long a while, really). I fell in love with the breed. I would so love to have one, but I doubt I could handle it. Maybe if it was service dog trained, but that would be a second giant expense (the dog being the first).
Got one of those!! Wonderful dog, she's a bit small for the breed, only about a 100 pounds tho, but I love her to absolute bits. As long as your part of the family she will protect you without any hesistation. Incredibly strong and intelligent (and incredibly stubborn lol)!
would love to hear maya talk about the dog breeding industry and its negative effects - she may have already and I get that many ppl have bought their dogs rather than adopted them but that makes the education much more important
This. More people need to talk about it and how breeders have been breeding unethically just to hit certain breed standards, or what's popular. It then ends up costing people thousands because the dogs have conditions caused by their genetics.
Your art is beautiful Id defiantly consider buying them! You should invest in your dreams, you obviously have talent and a good work ethic. All that’s left is the money and time which I hope you get the help for! ❤keep going man, I’m excited to see you when you’ve become a successful artist!!
We have two Anatolian-border collie mixes on our farm to guard our goats. The boy looks like a border collie and the girl looks like an Anatolian. She’s super shy and gets extreme butt wiggles when she approaches you. It’s impossible to see her as scary but they have scared off dogs from our goats before so they are great!
My friend has a 2 200lbs+ English Mastiff. Other than a Caucasian Mountain Shepherd. Probably the coolest dogs ever. But so totally weird. One is afraid of rain and the wind blowing 😂
Take one!! I wish my neighbour those types of dogs. The Anatolian shepherd the middle eastern kangal and the Asian shepherd known as Alibi most amazing dog breeds
Anatolians are not animals to humans, they are companions, like horses, you understand that immediately when they stare you in the eyes! like horses again, they look deep inside your soul..
Anatolian shepherds are a good breed of dog, they're very loving, affectionate and easy to train. However, they need more exercise than other breeds, and they need enough room to roam around or they'll get bored and start causing problems. Also, they're very protective, a little overprotective. If you don't have good control over the dog, they'll probably bite your houseguests. Training is crucial. Lastly they shed, a lot, and constantly. Not a big deal for an outside dog, but if your shepherd's inside their fur will get everywhere, including places the dog has never been. Places like the inside of sealed containers up in the attic.
I agree with him, all dogs are cute even chihuahuas. For those of you who like chihuahuas many people rightfully have miss givings about them from that one video of that guy that petting his dog “Mr. bubs”. I don’t think he was a chihuahua but I thought he was. And yes before anyone tries to correct me i speak for all chihuahua dislikers. If you disagree I manifested that so 👅. Ladies love him, predators hate him lol
Maya is so funny
drake scared of that dog
Those dogs are no joke!
such aubrey plaza vibes
"My problem is I can like any dog, they're all wonderful"
Sir, that is not a problem, it's a wonderful trait to have!
Nah, toy breeds and showline dogs suck.
Working line herding breeds are the best.

Yesss it’s the Leslie Jordan voice and it’s so lovely
I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with androgyny, but his voice sounds like a man's voice to me. but yes, usually people with age go either super positive or super negative
That dog will be 1.5 Mayas
Yeah legitimately will
Look at the paws on that boy! He looks like he’s wearing chunky sneakers. That’s gonna be one LION of a dog someday! 💛

I relate to this reaction to these perfect dogs
I miss my Anatolians, they lived for 15.5 years. Been years and I still get flashes of them being around.
Nice DAWGZ maya
You know you have digital obsession when you strap your phone to your wrist so you can look at it at all times.
Beautyfull women and cute puppies.
My as someone who raised 13 puppers, I still can’t get over the Hormons these little guys give me.
So cute. I love how Maya had screams of terror 🥰🥰

They are independent and stubborn. That helps them make their own decision to protect Livestock just alone, without people's orders.
i think i want one
Do you have a large farm that needs working dogs? No? Then don't buy them.
Bro Erics great and when he said well hello and laughs it sounds so much like sqeex.

Those are some cute puppies. But those dogs get huge! 😂
AWWWWWWWWWWWWW❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a cool neighbor mine is an asshole
If Bulldozer is that big as a PUPPY, he’s going to be HUGE as an adult

Kangal and Alabai are related each other. These are big dog breeds from Turkish tribes.
I hope eric meets the wolfdogs on stream
good one
😍😍😍
My Anatoian couple Aya and Kira had 8 pups and I still have seven to move, you buy!
If you're trying to sell puppies in a TH-cam comment section, you shouldn't be breeding dogs. Get them fixed.
Maya is the cutest
Diamond dogos!!!!
I want one 😭😭😭😭😭

So cute oh yes forgot soare the puppies💁🏼♂️🙆♂️🤦😊😊😊😊😊

Exactly! That's what neighbor Eric said, he only sells to people who are going to use them as working dogs to help preserve the breed
You need to take one
Katamari music mentioned
eric is my one parasocial elderly friend :)
Does anyone know from which video it is from ?
Goldenretrievers labradors spaniels i’m not too fussy either😊
I saw a baby golden retriever today .. every bone in my body is fighting, getting one, lol
If Eric isn't related to Leslie Jordan somehow, well then I'll be a monkeys uncle.
Is this baby Az? 😂
Az is Boz Shepherd, these are Anatolian. They are related to each other and looks similar.
i have a 4 year old great pyrenees/anatolian named Samson. 180 lbs, thinks he's a lapdog.
Those dogs will grow big enough for her to ride
Is maya getting a livestock dog?!
Nope just visiting
They talked about it but they would be a danger to the foxes and also the wolves now. They are bred to kill predators.
Can u keep oooone
Wtf was that noise at the end lol
Terror
