    Se Renzo Piano usasse i pennarelli di mio figlio, se Gualtiero Marchesi usasse il dolceforno, o se Federico Malaman usasse il Rickenbacker nessuno potrebbe dubitare di avere davanti (o dentro le orecchie) un'opera d'arte! Non è lo strumento a fare l'artista.

      I attended a very intimate YES rehearsal in Reno...the band and some friends, and everyone in YES was as cool as could be. Chris and he was a surprisingly large man. He played his Rick, but also played a silver Lakland Bob Glaub Precision bass when I saw him. Sounded killer.

      Ciao, in realtà ci puoi suonare un po' di tutto, nonostante si sia visto principalmente nel prog prima e nello stoner-grunge poi.

      Lo usava Paul McCartney, lo usava Chris Squire, lo usava Geddy Lee, lo usava Cliff Burton, lo usava Scott Reeder, lo usa Al Cisneros, lo usano migliaia di musicisti nei generi più disparati. Con il rick ci suoni di tutto.

    Federico Malaman può suonare TUTTO con TUTTO, Detto ciò, per questa musica, è dieci volte più adatto il mio "Jazz" cinese fretless da 180 euro di dieci anni fa....che tuttora non riesce a farmi rimpiangere un Fender.

    Bravo tecnicamente, ma non lascia niente a chi lo ascolta, nn c è nulla di personale, sembra che suoni note suonate mille volte da tanti bassisti, non si distingue per qualcosa di personale, nn crea nulla nell' ascoltatore..

      Credo che ogni musicista abbia qualcosa in piu e qualcosa in meno rispetto ad altri musicisti, Federico ha grande tecnica e versatilità, poi se lascia o non lascia qualcosa, dipende dalla soggettiva sensibilità, secondo me.
