She's all that is a classic! I'm a millennial (94 baby) but my sister and I crushed on Freddie Prinze Jr badly 🤣 yes the movie is predictable, and cute but still holds up pretty good! it's one of my favorites 💗

So I was 17 in 1999 and I was obsessed with this movie. For the longest time I thought I was just crushing on Rachael Leigh Cook (because who wouldn't fall in love with Laney watching this?) and it wasn't until years later when I came to terms with being trans and that I was really a woman that I realized I wanted to BE Laney, not be with her. So I guess this was my lgbt awakening if I didn't really understand why. I still love it all these years later! 🥰

Agreed. Saw it with my GF and late best friend at the theater. When we were walking out, my buddy saw his ex that had cheated on him in line outside waiting for the next show with all her GF's. She said something about how sad it was he had to tag along with us. He took the high road and told her to enjoy the movie. About 10 seconds later he turned around and yelled:

You should put together like a prom party with some help with you maybe get a chance to experience it to make up the time you miss or something. 💯
