This is the 𝙀𝙣𝙙𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚 Hollow Zero BOSS looks like - Zenless Zone Zero

- This is the last boss of the endgame Hollow Zero called Withered Garden. When you do this Hollow Zero there will be modifiers that can increase the difficulty, and I think they are pretty nice adjustments.
Honestly, the hardest part about this Hollow Zero is actually when you navigate through the hollows. You need to be able to get enough Resonias for your buffs while maintaining your suspense so it won't give you debuffs which gives you big disadvantages. When it comes to the boss, I feel like fighting 2 Mecha Bosses is actually harder than fighting this one. It didn't take a long time to adjust to the attack patterns and it just has a really high HP. Even though the modifiers turned on this Hollow Zero are just a couple of them, I feel like it will pose a problem if it stays the same even with all the modifiers turned on.
It really does seem like they are intentionally adjusting the hardest difficulty to still be able to be cleared by casual players. If you are a super hardcore gamer for dodge and parry games, this game is probably not for you. But if you want some additional challenges while still being able to clear every content of the games, then this game is perfect for you.
For me, this game has the right level of difficulty adjustment, and I will still be able to enjoy it however. So many people will too, I believe.

Damn, that boss looks like a world boss or something 😂😂
Really good content, can't wait for the release 👍
Same here and the battle look amazing 🤩
Nope, I have enough with PGR having bosses with 100x HP bars and another 100x HP bars for their phase 2.
Boss looks cool though 👍
that thing looks like a 'Honkai'
Damn that boss really attacked like 5 times that entire fight 😂
This boss is more so a HP sponge , 17 minutes of a battle of attrition
great video bro
this boss will be fun in multiplayer
Do you think this difficulty is good or needs a buff?
You can increase the difficulty in this endgame hollow zero with modifiers (check out the part at the end of the video for the preview). If they want more challenge, they can turn on more modifiers to their liking.
I agree that this one will be so fun in coop but unfortunately, this boss won't be in the coop mode when the game is released. It's hard to tell if this one going to make it into coop mode at all.
the boss is just standing wtf xDDD
Bruh im trying to give a chance, like litterly making my self feel like im the one playing. But after 5 minutes and saw the boss hp, this is just more so tedious than hard 😩
This boss is easier than most of the other Hollow Zero bosses indeed. The only catch is that its minion keep spawning and they deal a lot of damage
The camera in this one needed to be panned a little bit more further so the boss can be seen more clearly.
As well as the minions of the boss, in which can be seen on the screen, should be added more in number, to compensate the bosses slow attacks in close combat, as well as to make them have more purpose rather than just "being there".
As well as make the minions of the boss more aggressive, though this actually goes for most of the normal enemies too, they should have barely get staggered from an attack when their stagger meter haven't got broken yet.
And add something so that the switch parry/counter is less forgiving, maybe a gauge that indicates on how much can you do a parry? And when said parry/counter meter is out, your switch dodge only counts as a normal dodge instead of a counter/parry?
I think i should've just given all these advices to the Hoyo directly. But then again, i'm not the one in the beta, so maybe you can do it for me....i mean us.
yeah the camera for huge bosses has always been the issue since CBT2. The number of times you can do a parry can be seen by the 6 parts circled around those yellow thing on bottom right.
@@ilis_roa then i guess i gotta ask something: what happens if you try to parry/counter but the yellow circle thing is empty? Any drawbacks from it? And how do you fill those yellow circle gauges in combat?
@@m.wafiraihan1364 the button for parry is the same with switch character, so if you press it when there's no parry trigger, it will only do switch. The one on field and the previous character might get hit. Especially the previous one, they won't go into invulnerability when getting switched out until their animation of leaving the field done. You can increase the parry chances by doing ultimate and chain attacks.
I got bodied by PGR too much that I feel like this boss is ....unresponsive and predictable af😅
The design is cool and okay-ish but c'mon! FIGHT BACK! BEAT ME INTO A PULP! RAGDOLL ME!😭
This boss is quite predictable and easy to fight, though as the last boss in Hollow Zero. Instead, the mecha bosses in this game is rather more difficult than this one, based on my own experience of course.
Cool
What are those cute little minions?
The green bunny-like thingy? they are called Bangboo hahah
@@ilis_roaare they from a character or is it like a pet system? :0
you can say they assist in the battle, so like battle companion
@@zaphyyy They're independent from characters. You pull for them but their banner is entirely f2p iirc
I think the boss is nerfed from the last cbt. I wonder if there are higher difficulties!
We know there are higher difficulties than this, at the end for example for this boss alone, you can choose to increase their max daze, daze recovery speed and increase their effect resistance (hopefully for increased rewards)
i believe it's not nerfed, it's actually buffed it even has second phase form too.The reason it looked like it's nerfed is because they added reactive mechanic where it's attacks will be different depend on your distance and it's hp %. Regarding that, I was keeping distance so close because I have quite the confidence since I learned it's attack pattern and the result from my positioning is that it keeps attacking mostly with the same attacks pattern.
@@fishxwi thought on another difficulty it has to attack more frequently or has different kinds of behaviour...
@@sucrino yes same enemy with different level do have different attacks and more aggressive behaviour (and appeareance too). This become noticable on high level fights
Well I've read the comments, and it's not just that the boss is a damage sponge.
But ZZZ is just like Genshin in that unless you have the best gear / talent upgrades. Characters deal no damage due to absurdly high damage boss resistance modifiers.
Wuthering Waves solves this issue by adding a guard break meeter to the boss and if you dodge and parry their atacks correctly, the boss will be stunned and then you can wail on them for a bit through their armor.
ZZZ does get a bit of credit for even allowing players to take on bosses without gear check mechanics and even having an endgame at all.
But I don't think Hoyoverse has it in them anymore to let the high skill of players threaten their fragile economy.
ahh yes in wuthering waves there is no echo system right? its the fukin same thing
@@poooooya6369 Whats the echo system got to do with this 🤔
I mean.....each games have their own mechanics to play, Genshin has what Wuthering wave don't and it's the same for wuthering waves. Genshin has elemental reaction and Wuthering Waves has break meter (the game also has some elemental reaction before, but the devs canceled that mechanic). Each game has their own unique way to solve their gameplay problems. I just don't get what are you trying to imply here fella 😅
@@rickyraffeli8383 Read the whole thing because it's on the surface.
17 minutes... just to make sure, this isn't like an optimal build or anything right?
no, i didnt have enough resources to have proper build.
this is a good boss. it stands still most of the time and just slowly takes dmg.
Its a world boss lmao
The boss dosenot move to another place why
I think they don't want to make another chasm worm
Did you just fought a boss for 17 minutes?!?😭
I suffer so future players won't have to ;)
@@ilis_roa that’s a heavy burden to carry😆
@@ilis_roa is the boss's HP wayy too stacked or are you just underleveled/undergeared? If it's the former, please let them know that HP sponge enemies is not fun :/
If it's the latter due to lack of stamina, then I really hope they fine tune it so leveling stuff wont take too long for players who dont spend/dont spend money on stamina. They already somewhat tuned HSR's grinding so it takes somewhat longer than in GI, and even that is a little bit too much imo. I really hope it isnt much worse for this game at launch.
@@Don_Akane89 I didnt have enough resources to upgrade all the gear by the time I recorded this. But if you have proper team, you can clear this HZ Withering Garden (without modifiers) really quick, you can even do the boss only 3 min long.
You really don't need to clear the endgame with modifiers all turned on every week or so, the reward with polychromes only one time. But if you're curious, I recently did with all modifiers turned on and it took me 20 min for the boss with A rank agents only team, with fairly good leveled up gears, quite high skills level, and level 50 engine.
note: hollow zero can also be paused and you can continue whenever you like
@@ilis_roa Ahh, thats good to know. Thought Hoyo is out of their minds/just doing it to test things out in CBT. So in other words, it more or less take as much time as the average genshin boss.
As for the modifiers, that too sounds like SU Swarm & GnG in HSR where those give one-time challenge rewards & are optional.
All in all, sounds like ZZZ is on the right track for the most part?
next time try level up your characters because 17 min is a lot of time
I wish the stamina can keep up, I don't have the region privilege to do a top up and make the progression faster lol
For the normal beta tester, I probably among the fastest progression
Damn so easy
SO FKING BORING!
