Chippiparai Dog Breed - The Chippiparai has typical streamlined sighthound features with long legs and a lean and lithe frame built for speed, the breed is usually white in colour although other colours can be found, it averages 61 centimetres (24 in) in height at the withers, dogs averaging 63 centimetres (25 in) and bitches 56 centimetres (22 in). A hardy breed, the Chippiparai is reputed to prefer a single master, shunning food and pats from anyone except its handler. He is not a dog keeper or well wisher. He's a seller. How dare he claim puppies sold for 5000, 6000 are inferior? I know people who breed active hunting dogs and sell those puppies for 5000. How many hunting sessions did he attended? For what purpose does he raise those hunting dogs? What's the history for his father and grand parents? Did they raise hunting dogs? Did they involved in hunting activities? He is just a seller, running a puppy mill.!! Another thing is, he says in chippiparai these dogs where present in large numbers there's why it got that name. But in chippiparai town there was no hunting dogs in past and in present also there's no active hunting and breeding dogs. This statement is a false one absurd dubious. Chippiparai got it's name because of a 18th century broker (tharagar), who deals and middles cattles and poultry. That thatagar is famous for guiding the hunters to find the good running dogs because of his vast travelling experience throughout the various villages. His name is Ponnu Naickker. That's how chippiparai dogs got it's name. Oldage hunting dog keepers like vandan, arumugam and all others revealed the non existent of hunting dogs in chippiparai. This guy is a breeder and seller. He should be identified and enquired from whom and which place he got those dogs and put him in correct place. He's setting price for a breed and calls others inferior? who gave this permission to him.
