Roddy Ricch is one of the best performers I've ever seen. go watch his Audiomack concert with a live orchestra if you didn't yet. he's giving his songs so much more energy than they already have, this is stunning
can we really just talk about how fire the musicians are????? then lets give Roddy his props!!! omg I really enjoyed this so much!!! whole set is a bop and giving me life!!
JGUTTER34 Na i overstand the point you’re tryna make mentioning “gospel” but gospel literally Just all around came from blues & R&b/soul... they literally take chords & all, & tweak it by switching the lyrics & a very slight lil more .... listen to Bishop Paul S. Morton x Let it Rain .. & then listen to Prince x Purple Rain.... literally just ONE example a lot of ppl have No idea about lol
There’s nothing better than Roddy performing with a live band. Shout out the band 1500 Or Nothin they did their thing as usual. Shout out to Garren (the male background singer) he’s so talented.
Hip-hop would reach so many different audiences if people saw the RAW talent. You can tell he loves and appreciates the band and singers along side him. Real raw natural talent vibes. 😍😍
I love musicians that are fully involved in the production of their music and Roddy clearly is because God knows how difficult live performances are for rappers This is gold!!!!
Such a fire performance. Only thing I wish he does more in his concerts is expressing his vocal range. In his songs, he loves to switch from low to high pitch, but in his performances it seems like he doesn’t really try to.
Yeah it's a lot easier to do that in the studio, you can comp together separate takes in different vocal ranges and get a really convincing performance that sounds like the person just sings like that anyways, but live it's hard for a singer hitting rap flows like he does to make those vocal changes so quick, so it's better to stay in the comfortable range instead of tryna push it.
I've watch that Trap Orchestra set so many times. I wish he'd release that version for purchase. The trap orchestra version of Ballin' is my favorite 👐🏾 down.
@@FeltonHM i think artists like to hear their fans sing their songs. But I never really thought about that. Could see how that could bother some. I'm usually too busy singing lol.

Watching Roddy get the recognition he deserves is so beautiful. He is beyond talented. He’s making Compton & all of LA hella proud . Nipsey is really one of his guardian angels. 🥺💙🏁
I was so surprised by this tiny desk concert, I didn't expect Roddy Ricch to use a live band this much and his vocals compliment it so well AHHHHH I love this!

Anton Doty and at concerts he uses a backtrack... so it’s not gonna sound as good to do new things with the backtrack still going on
