- “Does she know this about you?” I asked someone recently. Theperson first took me on the … “Nahi bataya toh kya fark padta hai” path. Then …“Mujhe bhi uske baare main sab nahi pata”, and finally agreed on … “Ab bataaengetoh ajeeb lagega, ke pichle bees saal se kyu nahi bataya”. This person is no different from millions of us…couples andotherwise, that have told their partners what they thought was necessary tomaintain the image they wanted to create. The question is; to what purpose? Isthere a more reasonable way? What can people starting in relationships dodifferently?We will never be able to tell our partner everything, andthat’s OK…no one wants all the details, but a ‘full disclosure’ about what willaffect our lives together, may just be the greatest gift we can give to peoplewe love. Our fears, our flaws, our mistakes, as much as our ambitions, anddreams and strengths. Openness, authenticity, vulnerability…what a fantastic wayto start any relationship. Nahi? This is going beyond the ‘Drawing Room’.

ये विपत्ति जब जाएगी... सब यादें बनके रह जाएंगी, कहानियां अपनी सुनाओगे तुम खुद भी तो मुस्काओगे।।
