I wonder how different German unification would be under AUSTRIAN, not PRUSSIAN, leadership. It would definitely be different in internal policies (less militaristic, less oppressive, more socially liberal, more Catholic-Bavarian like in my opinion, maybe even WW1 wouldn't happen with France and Russia?)

Such as Berlin, which was the capital of Prussia, before it was the capital of Germany. There's also Brandenburg, which was the actual heart of Prussia, not East Prussia. Which makes sense, since the first ruler of the Kingdom of Prussia was the Elector of Brandenburg. Speaking of Prussia's rulers, the royale family of Prussia still exists (the Hohenzollern). Sorry to disappoint you, but Napoleon didn't "make" the emperor abolish the HRE, it's just that the emperor didn't want Napoleon to be able to annex the HRE as a whole country, so he dissolved it to make it harder to invade & conquer

Emperor Napoleon the third was a Dark Emperor of the French, so powerful and so ambitious that he could use the French nationalism to influence the populace to create war… He had such a knowledge of warfare, he could even keep the territory he cared about from being annexed. He could actually save territory from annexation? He became so patriotic… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his territory, which eventually, of course, he did. How crazy is that? French philosophy is responsible for the french revolution, the french revolution allowed Napoleon to take power. Napoleon is responsible for uniting Germany (indirectly), German unification is responsible for german nationalism and rapid expansion, which itself is responsible for the french 1871 defeat, which in turn is responsible for WW1. And WW1 led to WW2. Both world wars are responsible for making the USA filthy rich, which in turn led to our current world. If a couple of philosophers didn't exist 200+ years ago, our world would be drastically different right now.
The american revolution is also an important factor, but it's mostly because France lost a lot of money and got terrible debt over it. This meant high taxes. The injustice of the "top 1%" being exempted from taxes was also a very important factor. But these factors are not enough to make a french revolution. Without the philosophers you would just get civil unrest and nothing more. The philosophers of the time were responsible for the death of monarchy.
There is also a line of thought that believes the failed revolutions of 1848, which resulted in a lot of liberal Germans being exiled for their participation (see: the 48ers), is what set the stage for the eventual Nazi takeover of Germany, as the liberal/radical factions that supported nationalism were weakened, allowing for the forces of conservatism and reaction to take the helm, a la Bismarck and company. At the same time, a lot of the exiled German liberals went to the US and ended up being influential in building up local socialist traditions in places like Milwaukee. Thousands of 'em joined the Union army during the Civil War. So they were pretty cool.
Don't be surprised when the past affects the present. It is just a simple matter of cause and effect but on a much much larger scale. Past events like the long past splitup of the Carolingian Empire into three shaped much of Europe's history thus the world's history up to the present. Any effects of the events from the past, no matter how small it was, will only get bigger as time goes by.

I think you have to be careful with what you've said in 7:28 since there's a difference between German Emperor (Deutscher Kaiser) and Emperor of Germany (Kaiser von Deutschland) as it was an issue between Bismarck and Wilhelm hours before the Versailles event.

in 8th grade I drew a picture of Otto von Bismark for art it ended up winning best in show in our county art show the thing is that NONE of the kids knew who it was (at least 10 kids asked me if it was Hitler) and very few of the adults had actually heard of the name (weather it be from the man himself North Dakota or the battleship)

I know there was some controversy over "Kaiser von Deutchland" or "Deutchen Kaiser", ultimately resolved by simply "Kaiser", but other than that no sources (perhaps except German ones, but my knowledge of this language is too limited to make something out of it)

Additionally little heads up, when the habsburgs tried to unify and centralize it in the late medieval age and early Renaissance it ended with the swiss germans (predominantly allemanic germans) beating them to gain first independence within the reich and afterwards to fully leave the HRE.

Shellshocked German it was though, in it were the dutch, swiss, austrians, the main krauts, sudets and yes there were some bohemians and some italians and some longobards in there but considering that those showed no interest in leaving so long the thing was federal and decentralized there would've been not that much problems.

"German Emperor" simply refers to an emperor, who is German and does not lay claim to being the Emperor of every German state.
"Emperor of Germany", however, does lay these claims.
Before the proclamation of the German Empire in Versailles, Wilhelm refused to be proclaimed as anything other than "Emperor of Germany", while the various German Princes didn't accept this title. Bismarck sided with the princes and tried to convince Wilhelm to accept the title "German Emperor", which was acceptable for the princes, for the sake of unity.
This debate was still unsolved in the hall of mirrors, where it came down to Frederick Duke of Baden, who was the person responsible for the proclamation of Wilhelm. With the whole room anxious to see if he would side with Wilhelm or Bismarck and the Princes, he proclaimed: "Long live his majesty, Emperor Wilhelm". I feel the Holy Roman Empire as a good thing but it needs a lot of reforms trying to fix the balance of power in central Europe and dynasty powers, they also had deal with social stuff before ideology is influencing the people.
