While its true they caught Real on a bad day (and season) when you consider the financial gap between the sides this was still a monumental achievement. I'm a die real Madrid fan, so it was really hurting for me to see my team getting ripped apart like this. Respect and credit to ajax cause they played amazing football but even then rm should not have been undone just like that. Look how the mighty have fallen is the perfect phrase to describe the current situation. They really need to spend smartly in summer market cus they need 1-2 big names to make their claim on the next season. Let's be honest no one player can fill the boots of CR7, so we need someone like Harry kane and hazard duo, or Neymar and icardi who can share the responsibility and could link up with asensio or isco. Also the overall squad also needs some rebuild as many 1st team players are above 30 so we need to plan for the future. Nacho isn't a suitable replacement for Sergio ramos, there is no one to replace modric as isco and James are both CAMs. Also the bench is really thin and weak unlike in the 2017 season when we could call onto morata, asensio, Vasquez, pepe or James. It's good that Perez is buying younger players but they need time to get to the level real Madrid needs. That's why it's important to dip into the market and buy at least 1-2 world class players and 2-3 rotation players. Also sell bale as he isn't happy here.
