Great way to tell somebody they aren't good enough. Honestly, if you can't accept somebody as they are, they will never be good enough for you. Also, the more you try to change somebody, the more they will hate you. But hey, go ahead, hurt somebody else so you can be happy. This is actually a very selfish song if you actually listen to it. She's telling him that who is isn't good enough for her but if he changes everything about himself then she would love him. The sad thing is when a guy does this for you, don't expect him to be happy or even be remotely similar to the way he was when you met him. He changed who he was for you. So if you're not happy, maybe you should take a look in the mirror because you were the one that kept asking him to change.
