I sat in the Jeep Wrangler when my grandmother was buying the grand Cherokee and I felt so comfortable sitting in it went up high enough for me to see over the staring wheel and that's great bc I'm really short 😂😂😂

My uncle has a 2008 Wrangler 2dr Rubicon 6MT and the engine is so unrefined and slow but I love the car it's so much fun to drive (in a Jeep way) and quirky.
Nice review of the Wrangler. I agree with you that the hard top is well worth the price (around $995 or so, IIRC). Even if you're a soft top fan, I'd recommend getting hard top first and buying the soft top later. From what I can gather, the hard top + Unlimited Sport is far and away the most popular Wrangler. At most dealerships I go to, it's actually hard to find a 2-door Wrangler, since the 4-door is much more popular.
I'd love to see this thing with a Hemi in it, the Pentastar sounds good though :)
I've got a 2013 Jeep wrangler sport 4x4 with the soft top and is the 2 door model. It's got the 3.6 V6 and 6speed trans. I've had it 6 months now and I've put a set of 285 75 16 AT tires and no lift kit but I've done some upgrades to it and just over the weekend I put a winch on it and having a ball in it. You can do a little bit to the Jeep and have a lot of fun with them.
I remember renting a 2008 and a 2011 those times I went to Moab just for half a day pretty much. It was too much fun to drive on the trail, but of course was not a performer and the wind noise was deafening at 60 mph. I would probably get a Grand Cherokee for day to day use

I've been a JEEP fan since I bought my very first brand new vehicle, 1986 Jeep CJ7 Renegade with removable fiberglass hard top. Lost interest in those 1987 and beyound Wranglers, those stupid square headlights. Took Chrysler 10 years to figure out that the front grill was an icon. great vid, thanks for sharing :)

There has been a lot of issues with the Chrysler V6 Pentastar engine, I guess in time they will work out the bugs, but I've read of a lot of head gasket failures at low miles.

I’m just really hesitant on the 2012 3.6 V6. I’ve heard a lot of issues. How’s your doing? I found almost an identical Jeep as this one near me I’m really interested in.
Excellent job with this review Sofyan. I must admit that Jeep has really put a lot of thought & consideration into making the Wrangler a better vehicle than it was before.
In addition, I heard the word "DINGER" being said @ 3:38, loud and clear :)

The first Wrangler was 87 not 86 model year. 1986 was the last year of the AMC CJ7.
I live in Chicago, would a Jeep Wrangler be a fine car to own during the winters. I only have to commute two miles to school and back and maybe around some local stores.
I see that it has bluetooth. Can you play audio using that as well or just use the phone?
Jeeps are just so fucking raw, it's best car because it gives you a lot of confidence in what you can do and cannot do and basically you can pretty much do every damn thing with it lol
I'm not a die-hard fan of Chrysler, but the 300 they make is absolutely excellent.
The "complicated" soft top takes like three minutes to drop after you've done it a couple times.

Wow this is a great review and I agree the 08 had hard head rest. And He said Dinger meaning door chime. Some people need to get sound proof head phones or better speakers. I am using Beats Solos and he said Dinger. So people get off of it. And I am black and I can tell the diffence.
I think your mistaken between automatic gearing I think you mean 3-speed automatic instead 4-speed automatic its shares tranny with late Jeep Cherokee since 2001.
If I ever bought a wrangler I'm not sure if I'd buy the unlimited...the regular looks so much better but is probably a pain in the ass for people who sit in the back...

I've always wanted a jeep but what kept me from buying it was the payload :( I can't carry my 20ft boat.
Unless your boat is made out of lead, most 20ft fiberglass boats don't way 3,500lbs which is what a 4dr wrangler can safely tow. And to be honest, I used to tow my 18ft Regal back in the 90's with my 91 wrangler.

I believe. then your YJ, "why square headlights?" TJ, brought back the round headlights JK brought in the 4- door if I'm correct... ( The most sought after Jeep is the "1982 Jamboree" model ) 2500 were suppose to have been built but, only 751 have only been verified by Vin #...
