Those were all big Rap singles at the time that came out on Major labels. "My Life" came out on Rawkus records a small independent label with semi decent distribution. The original version featured Capone & Noreiga but the producer thought it needed something more to make it a hit. He hired G-Wise on the Talk Box for the hook and verses and that was all she wrote. That song went to the Radio literally days after it was recorded and became an instant hit. Rawkus removed the original version featuring Capone & Noriega to release this version featuring G-Wise on the Talk Box to be the break out single for the album. That's saying a lot for this classic joint.
