Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and throw a like in there guys :). This was one of the most requested sites to visit during my stay. The only reason I went here was because of you guys.
FinnSnow ...theres a lot of beautiful spots here in philippines! hope youre having a great time :) and yes you better try to eat filipino dishes it is underrated though compare to other asian cuisines ..but it is one of the best trust me..cheers to you !
Sumner Evigan If you heard from the video, Finn said that the place where he's at is under Martial Law. Actually, the whole Mindanao is under Martial Law. It is the government's way of protecting the law abiding people from the on-going terrorist attact of the stupid, dumb and selfish of the so-called Maute-ISIS group. The place is under strict military measure. Flying a drone would alarm the military and maybe will think that the drone is from the terrorist group. And will get Finn in trouble. See, even the mayor of the town don't have enough power to approve the flying of the drone. That is how strict in Mindanao right now, and not because they want Finn's money.
Nice video!!! I've been there last year... It's a good thing people can't swim anymore in the bluer part.It was closed for maintenance when I got there and I only could take pictures Filipinos save their historical sites and I appreciate that. This country and the people are amazing!!!!
Hi Finn. I think one of the reasons they closed the deeper area of the river is that Dr. Amores, one of the fine divers of the country who was in a team doing a videography of the river, died inside the cave underneath the river. They say that the river connects to the sea which is why the divers were trying to find the passage connecting the two bodies of water. Unfortunately, the cave was far deep, narrow and dangerous that they never reached the bottom portion. The think Dr. Amores died because of the strong currents that can be tricky even for the most seasoned and well-skilled divers as he was. This is why there remains an undiscovered portion of the cave. Perhaps, a more advanced equipment is needed -- one that can navigate a very narrow passage without damaging the cave.
One reason, but Dr. amores died a couple of years before it was closed. The primary reason is that people were clouding the water and disturbing the limestone making the water cloudy and making the huge fshes dissapear.
I was there a few years ago the deep area was open then. But, we where told that someone had died diving in a cave. I think Mindanao is still under marshal because of the battle that took place in Marawi.
hazel Belmonte siguro jan naka libing si Adam and Eve or this is near the garden of eden kaya maraming nakabantay na mga spiritu. Siguro daanan pa ito noong panahon ni Adan but in time of Noah napuno ng tubig kaya naging ka dugtong na ng tubig dagat kaya maraming malalaking isda na lumalangoy diyan.
Great vid! The more time I spend in PH the more I realize I haven't seen. I am taking notes of places you visit, so when I am back I can check some of them out.
"Challenge Accepted!" That's our Finn...never backs down...always face challenges head on. Just can't beat that crystal clear, turquoise water! Great video Finn!
Just found your channel and am already a follower. I've been to the Philippines twice now and your videos on Mindanao make me want to make a third. Great videos! 👍👍
an enchanting adventure tale of a foreigner from the cold north, Finn Snow, in his quest to see the world and trying to charm the conscientious guide, proving his worth by accepting a challenge and swimming to victory with another awesome video to enthral us all. that sums up the plot of this film? 😁
Finn, the water is as beautiful as your eyes and while the river is enchanting, I was more enchanted by your accent and personality. You are really good at this. Keep it up! :-)
WOW! Beautiful! your so lucky guys to visit that place, we're filipino but seldom & no luck to visit some beautiful place in our country. so enjoy and welcome to teh Philippines anytime. God bless and thank you for your wonderful journey and for sharing your nice video.
Of all the video that I've seen on enchanted river this is one of the best, especially if you watch it on the big screen 4k tv, I've seen the whole beauty of it, how enchanting the river is, thank you Finn for doing a great job, hope our department of tourism will take notice of your amazing job and be thankful for promoting our beautiful country again thank you.
So happy for 11k subs‼️. it's like I've been part of ur journey from around 1.5k subs to 5k and now 11k? From broken drones to purchasing new and better one, from Palawan, Cebu, Bohol, and other islands and magical places we only discovered through ur channel, from different locals who shared the hospitality of Pinoys, and most of all, for your iconic yellow trunks, that rayban glass, hat and bandana which became ur sort of signature, thanks Finn for exploring Ph👍👏🍺
What a beautiful place it's amazing...i feel like i see them all the beautiful places in the Philippines because of your videos love it soooo.....much thanks for your hard working....
I just subscribed a week ago.. I love your vids! FYI guys.. please DON'T SKIP the ADS, this would really help Fin a lot, when you skip the advertisements, uploader gets ZERO cents from the advertisers.. More power to you FIN!
Maybe Im lucky because during my visit last year, we can still swim in the bluest and deepest part of Enchanted River, and its a good idea to stop that practice to preserve the beauty of this spot... And since you are already in Mindanao, visit also ASIK-ASIK FALLS in Alamada, North Cotabato... It is one of a kind... 👍
Thanks for showing the world how beautiful Philippines is... be ready we believe something great awaits you, your labour will not be in vain😃Just bring humility wherever you go it will be your ladder to the top.
Last 2015 my family and I went there and the restriction wasn't implemented yet... I thought it was restricted due to photo ops and fishes... but now I know the real reason lol... although I was able to dive there haha I find it scary... coz the water is too deep it makes me think that someone will pull me inside 😂😂😂
And back then we can swim without life jacket even in the deep area... you should have also check Sibadan... Brenda the stingray there is so entertaining... it's 15mins from Enchanted River as I remember
Enchanted it is.........love the video......unusual place but nature sets the beauty of it. Very dramatic shots of walking through the stairs to the Enchanted River....fantastically amazing. Any crocodiles here? .........Just you ! ha ha ha Epic !
Finn @5:00 your face looked surprised with enchanted river history as being told by the guide...😅 you must be learning a lot of histories on every island that u visit...another epic video👍👍👍
...i love the suspense approaching the river...cool editing Finn...and the music...oh my...you captured it beautifully...tnx for another awesome vidz Finn...i hope you come back to the Philippines...always keep safe...
nice intro - hyperlapse. atleast I'm seeing a drone shot of the enchanted river. Finn, elves and dwarves exist in Philippine folklore 😉very informative vlog. good to see a recording of the so -called Feeding time (12 noon). this vid will help the slow tourism in Surigao 😇
Im so proud that you came into our place most espicially the enchanted river😍 Enchanted river was one of best spot of surigao del sur 😊 But if u have time you can visit more other spots in surigao del sur. Theres a lot of white sand .. we also have falls.. but mostly our spot is beach 😊 Welcome and welcome back again to SURIGAO del sur. Thank u for exploring ENCHANTED RIVER 😊😊
I live in the PHILIPPINES! I really like this vid and I really like the editing I'm sure you put so much work on that I appreciate this video so MUCH! ♥️♥️
Ever since the Flirting with Filipina video, I keep hearing that girl's voice whenever Finn goes shirtless. "Show me your body, bebe" - LOL! It's a nice quote, perhaps those words will forever be immortalized in Finn's channel. 😂😅
Wow!! Not only the river is amazing but the editing as well. He sure did put a lot of effort into this video, and the ShotS.. just wow..it looks like he can be a director or something..
I'm a little disappointed that you can no longer go to the deep end. The magic is no longer there when you can't dive down as close as you can to the cave entrance, swim with the fishes or just even snorkel across. That is what makes this place so enchanting; the mystery. I am not sure if I want to travel that far to swim in a swimming pool. But like always, thank you for this amazing video!
If only all tourist are well cultured then things like you said are possible to do, but considering how mass tourism damages everything, it is inevitable these places get damaged "if" without rules & boundaries. Actually Mindanao nature is better preserved compared to other parts of Philippines due to lack of tourism & development.
slow motion... great great.. makes me want to go there.. the river is clean and it looks so deep but I don't know how to swim so.. lemme think about it hahahha... thanks for sharing it 🤗🤗🤗 I am always distracted with your smile and tattoos 😜😜😜
Wow!just wow! The water is so blue...one thing That I learned from u: visit a place so early that u get to enjoy the view ALONE...Nice vid by the way...
Your concern over tourism getting affected coz of the Marawi crisis was very touching. I really hope this will send a message to a lot of foreign tourists that most parts of Mindanao are safe. peace out bruh! xx
still sad to see u were not able to enjoy the supposedly diving/swimming spot where the fishes were..still. great video and a good sport with the challenge😎
Very nice cinematography! It's amazing coz you are the one filming and at the same time hosting your videos. A certified solo traveler. Philippines has a lot to offer, just continue what you are doing and thanks for promoting my country. God bless you dude!
From 3:06 is so beautiful created...love this slow motion effect...combined with going back and forth...it rhymes so well with the music...Thank you for sharing from the Mindanao island...Peace
My gorgeous Filipino wife lives in Southern Mindanao about 3Hrs drive from guessing from the most Southern Part where all the fighting was going on and every time I have been over there over the past 4 years i've never had any problems but I am always eyes on the look out. I can never have enough of the Philippines!
Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble hearing Finn. The past three videos have been in and out with the audio. I only have this problem with Finns videos.
Syl B I guess it has not to do with him being in the province or the internet connection. I guess it's the way he edit or the software he uses. Other bloggers don't have this kind of problem.
I’ve already been here its was about 7 years ago and i will just say that it was like unchange it was still beautiful the nature was still beautiful everything. Hope to visit this again
been there before just swimming no diving. i was able to jump on the cliff so many times and it was so fun. it was really amazing. thry also have mass every 9am. they feed fishes by 12noon so no one should be in the water that time. im so happy you visited hinatuan river.
haha i remembered when i was a child that off for mosquitoes.. one more awesome video... 😍😍😍 look at the water look stunning 😍... take care always #finnSnow😘❤
kuya finn i want you to visit camsur in bicol region... Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte, from Vigan to pagudpud.. to see and experience the beautiful picturesque mountain of Sierra Madre....
Thanks a lot for going to Enchanted River. I have been eagerly awaiting this video as there are very very few tourist vlog of this place. Sad that you cannot take drone shots, it would have been amazing. I understand nonetheless. The shots you made are still good. Very good vlog again Finn considering the limitations. You have this ability to enhance the beauty of the scenery with how you present it in your videos and also through your cool demeanor. You are doing good. That is the reason you are winning viewers. People eagerly await for your videos. Keep it going.
I was able to swim there a few years ago and went down with my finns on a sort of free dive... it's soooooo deep there and the water soooo clear that it amazes you over and over... and I understand why they don't allow the swimming nomore... this to preserve this beautiful Enchanted River. After we were able to close our mouth again, we went to Tinuy-an falls which is also stunning and we had a very pleasant overnight stay in Brittania where you can walk from Island to Island on low tide. Highly recemmended to visit these places if ever you are in Mindanao.
Ok so I’ve seen a number of people requesting you to visit this place but now that I’m actually watching this vlog and seeing the place... uh I find it nothing but boring. You could’ve visited somewhere more fun and exciting 😐 still a good vlog tho
I totally understand the reason behind the no-swimming rule near the deep part of that river but the floating markers on the water and all the music and noise during the feed time really kills all the magic that this place has to offer in my opinion. Still a very beautiful and fascinating place sans all the presence of commercialization.
The commercialization of this beautiful place will eventually ruin the magic that this place is known for. This river gain its notoriety and fame due to what one will experience in the water and being surrounded by all the natural elements within it. It's a bummer that visitors cannot do that anymore.
Claira D i think this place is good for couples who really wants a quiet place for a getaway, buuut if kasama ang barkada this place isnt the perfect place for fun
The real beauty & mystery of Enchanted River is actually hidden underneath its waters! Beneath that river is a deep & long underground cave system with the cave opening at 30 meters depth. Explorations of Enchanted River have continued aiming to discover its unexplored area beyond its 82 meters depth. The river's unusual colors, abundance of big fishes & unexplored depths have inspired various local legends and what give Enchanted River its unique charm and make it all the more interesting!
That's what I thought too! Was planning to visit the place but it indeed looks boring with the restrictions and the commercialization of the place. Still would visit though and probably another area closeby.
I am Filipino citizen and married in English man but currently living in Dubai I miss my place it's reminds my childhood moments I miss a natural resources like paradise I hope one day I can can back me and my husband once to see again and comeback for exploring more in Philippines love from England and Dubai ❤️😉✈️
Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and throw a like in there guys :). This was one of the most requested sites to visit during my stay. The only reason I went here was because of you guys.

What's the big deal about flying drones in the middle of the jungle? I don't get it? Is it near an airport?
Sumner Evigan what I think is they want you to give money to approve for your drone to fly.
Sumner Evigan If you heard from the video, Finn said that the place where he's at is under Martial Law. Actually, the whole Mindanao is under Martial Law. See, even the mayor of the town don't have enough power to approve the flying of the drone. That is how strict in Mindanao right now, and not because they want Finn's money.
Just so u know, both Terrorists and the Military are using drone for surveillance in Marawi

David94591 I second that. I had plans to go see it next fall. We will still be in the area but doubt I will go to that spot now!
You cant fo that ..... even the great divers they cannot go very deep.

@@kuntface6988 it is preserved because of the presence of terrorist groups. Few tourists risk in going to that area

Breathtaking!!!! I love just how blue it is!!! Thanks for taking us on your adventure!!
What is the music about while feeding the fish?
Alena mich Maserati 😂😂😂 I don't even get it😂
I was able to swim there a few years ago and went down with my finns on a sort of free dive... it's soooooo deep there and the water soooo clear that it amazes you over and over... and I understand why they don't allow the swimming nomore... this to preserve this beautiful Enchanted River. After we were able to close our mouth again, we went to Tinuy-an falls which is also stunning and we had a very pleasant overnight stay in Brittania where you can walk from Island to Island on low tide. Highly recemmended to visit these places if ever you are in Mindanao.
ty Finn.B requested this too

Man the quality of your Vlog is absolutely stunning!
Beautiful 💖💖
Can wait too see it again one of my favorite river in Philippines so freakin beautiful ✌️✌️✌️
