I have two Victors, one 99% original which will stay that way. But I love to see these meticulously prepared race bikes. It is very rare and misleading to see an old race bike looking as it looked when leaving the factory. Most was modified by their riders. Many show signs of wear and tear. Some riders excelled in paint jobs, other didn't bother. When the rider who raced my Manx in the sixties saw it, he said "they've put a lot of filler on the tank". So I keep it ragged, though mechanically as good as I can.
