The electricity situation in Nigeria is very sad and frustrating but I often marvel at how my Nigerians produce so much good music, bomb a** videos and also movies, even though they don't have constant electricity. All if those things require LOTS of electricity. The Nigerian spirit=tenacity and determination. I'm very proud of that, I must say.

The problem is complex, previous governments focused on generation, so we have a situation where we have 'enough power' but the grid is dilapidated, so power is stranded. So the present government signed a deal last year with Siemens to overhaul the grid, its a 3-year project to be executed in phases. Apart from that, there's an ongoing grid expansion and rural electrification project (World Bank assisted).
I think it's one of the most meaningful songs from recent Naija music Artist of this present generation... Tekno is one of the top Generals of Nigerian music industry he's arguably the one of... if not best young dancer in the music industry in Africa
