So many tracks on Rebirth that really encapsulate the feeling of "adventure", but this one especially. Every so often on the climb, I'd turn around and look back over Costa Del Sol getting smaller and further away and just marvel at how far we've gone up.
Why does everything about FF7 since 1997 always get me so happy/emotional? Music like this sounds so uplifting and full of life. When you look at the story at this point when the song first plays, everyone feels very hopeful and full of life - tons of confidence and optimism as they keep getting past every hurdle. Then climbing Mt. Corel and hearing this just hits you right in the heart.
The game is fan service for and for most and you don't want players favorite characters to look sad all the time. From psychological perspective, the heros are rebels that are on verge of being terrorists in first part, you need determination to move forward insted of being glumy, and putting happy masks is what keeps once personality toghter, for someone spending time in hole full of depressed lonly people its fully undeestable
This is absolutely the best new track. Like there's no reason Mt. Corel needed THIS GOOD of a theme for basically a passing area. I can't wait for this to come to Spotify
One of my favorite moments in the game. The next part of the journey kicking off. Bonding with Aerith and Red while trying to climb the mountain. So good!
I’ll never forget getting to this moment in the game late at night, lights off, headphones on, and this track kicking in and blasting as I hiked uphill with Aerith and Red. New core memory unlocked. ❤
I knew I wasn’t crazy lol kinda brings a different level of nostalgia. The devs and composers were very aware of bringing that 90s tone and I’m here for all of it.
Always loved the 80’s pop synth vibes on this track. Maybe a nod back to the start of square soft, even though this games origins are in the mid 90’s. Regardless, this song killed it.

Its a masterpiece, ff13 and 15 was full of sadness. Ff7 was always special and now its the best ff part there was, there is and there ever will be.
