haha people say that a lot to modular synth nuts, synths actually don't cost a crazy amount to keep powered, but yea in a cool climate at least youre subsidizing heat costs a little.
That’s thousands of dollars in cables alone. I just spent 2k on Mogami cables for all my sunths and mics and have way less than what’s seen here. If your synth or any piece or hardware has balance/trs outs, use trs cables instead of instrument/guitar cables. I accidentally used one trs and one instrument cable to hook up speakers once thinking they were both guitar cables and one speaker was way louder and clearer. Thought I had a bad cable but then noticed the louder speaker was trs so I used another one and it matched. Best I ever heard the speakers. Then I tested the moog one with TRS and it was such a big difference I was actually mad at myself for not knowing that all these years.
the synth sounds have so much character, each sound is so unique. its pretty cool how simple sound waves put together a certain way can sound so magical.
the CS-80 alone makes me salivate. but then there are so many little goodies hidden here, from the rupert neve center control mixer, the rhodes, all the moogs with all this dread and we haven't even seen the rack

I wish I knew how to play well enough to take the sounds from my head thatd I feel belong in certain areas and be able to keep up live and fill in the parts that need and harmonize with the rest adding just enough to make it feel like a total song instead of just a jam set lol even tho it's still that lol. But ya know what I mean itd be so cool. Or even just to have a friend with all this gear! Play with some DAWs make my own music everyday even if only for myself to celebrate life n jesus.

But I think I'll just work on learning it all now so that when I finally have enough saved up then we'll be able to hit the ground running with it and create some epic tunes lol can't wait it'll happen sooner than later now that I quit wasting it on games(which was an escape cuz I had lost some close family n friends close together RIP my dad n then a good friend jn the last 2yrs so I was grieving which I'm mostly over now about as well as one can so theres that but I no longer use mp games and saved a ton of $on those by just quit them competition games I'm too old for now lol and I just play thr single player Nintendo games on switch n now I don't need spend anymore on games at all).. lol so it is all going to music gear idk what I need yet lol.
