I like the way the callouts work now and it is visually displayed in the renders realistically. I used to draw all my threads and cut everything in my models to look real, mastering threads was a lot of fun, but it is something I rarely need to do now for holes, it was labor intensive but gave my client renders he could use in marketing.
Cutting geometric threads is generally reserved for custom thread profiles, 3D printing, or ultra-detailed rendering. Otherwise, the additional file size and rebuild time makes it prohibitive to add that additional detail. Definitely better to use the cosmetic representations!
