I think it is extremely important to warn about tasting minerals. Some are very toxic, ores of mercury, arsenic etc. and will make you very ill, or worse. Beware, taste is not a wise test unless you are very sure.

Would you say that the methods in this video are sort-of ranked from least reliable to most reliable for identification? I have an essay question asking to make a list of sorts, ranking mineral identification methods, and I'm having a bit of trouble "-_-
