BBC Mastermind India 2000 Semifinal - The Road to the Finals

This is my semifinal episode of Mastermind India 2000, filmed at the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. I was given the video after I won the contest that year. The video was made by Synergy Communications for BBC World. I claim no copyright for the video and if any entity has copyright objections, I will take it down. Mastermind India has been described as the 'Olympics of Quizzing in India'. All the participants competed for the sheer pleasure of taking part in this mindsport and the coveted Mastermind trophy. Pewter is an alloy consisting of tin, antimony and copper. Sometimes bismuth or silver is also used. But " Lead" is not an ingredient of Pewter.

Two quiz shows stand out in a flurry of such shows in the 90s and in the first decade of the millennium..
One is Derek O'Brien' s bournvita quiz contest ,which was meant for school students..
But siddarth Basu quiz shows were out of the world .participants to me appeared super humans ..
I ,myself ,am a group one officer, topped the competitive exams but the standard of these questions was quite high for me ..
