- The West Point Class of 2021 complete their Cadet Basic Training with traditional 12 mile "March Back" to main USMA post. Tgey display tgeir motto for first time. Over 250 Academy alumni joined in to complete march.

De verdad que si cada quien hace lo que se le da la gana y todos con el uniforme echo un desbarajuste. Y son de WEST POINT. Mi hijo esta sirviendo en el 101 Division de Paracaidistas en Fort Campbell y creo marchan mejor y andan mejor arreglados que esta gente de la escuela de oficiales con mas prestigio en USA.

Not the sharp, besutiful uniforms we generally see in marching bands, but they represent SO MUCH MORE WHEN WORN BY THESE YOUNG MEN! The inside matters So much more!! These all VOLUNTEERED to be among the very best, and worked VERY hard to get to this point!,
This was march back from basic training, dress uniforms are for other days.
Thanks to all the men and women who answered the nation's call to duty past and present! And to all who sacrificed their lives!!! From a proud Vietnam era vet and proud American Legionnaire!!!!!! Be safe everybody!!!👍👏🙏
Nice seeing these young soldiers march. Perhaps, it would be nicer if they have the same cadence steps and listen to the beatings of the drum. Anyway, all the best with your military career and God Almighty be with you all always!

In 1985, it was a scorcher (in the 90s and humid)... people were dropping left and right. 2 days after we got back, I had heat exhaustion. Lost over 13 lbs.

What a messy mob scene of marchers right in front of the reviewing stand. Maybe some one could call out cadence-----or better yet just one drummer across from the reviewing stand to keep them in step. Not real hard to do.

군에서는 아직도 말이 중요하지요. 전투에 늘 기병대. 대단했지요. 아무리 인력으로 밀어도 기마부대한테 가지요. 그것에 최고 대장은 역시 몰골군이지요. 여기는 흰옷입는 선비족이고 몽고는 붉은 옷이 상징이지요. 다 같은 종족이에요. 단지 제사장이고 몽고는 ㄱ장군급이지요. 여기서는 옛날 구분하고 살았지요. 터키는 흉노에 장군들입니다. 전투 기질적으로 잘해요. 국군의 날이 옛날 같이 살 때 기준으로 저해었어요. 하하.

It is a shame to see these people out of uniform. West Point should have made sure that everyone was in the same gear. Even the officer on the stage were out of uniform. Has our West Point gone slack?
Army is in process of changing camouflage pattern back to traditional terrain pattern. This is being phased in so soldiers don't waste uniforms they just bought.

I've always thought that the US Military doesn't 'march' as such but stroll in unison. Including 12 mile route marches. Brits (and her Commonwealth) do it so much better. Just sayin'.

Quite interesting, two officers at the end of the marching seemed to be riding on mules, not horses, but mules! Real fun.
The "Mules" are mascots who are cared for by and ridden by cadets at special events.
