I love that the menu is neutral. You get to the survivor song and it makes so much sense, a guitar melody, sitting around a campfire. Then you hit the killer option and you get that heavy distortion. it always got me in the mood to stalk my prey I just wish it transferred over into the game a bit better.
Survivors feel chill like your character is reflecting on something, after all that adrenaline you felt running for your life you now have a moment to look back. The relaxation really helps prepare you for the next match. Killers feel more intense, distorted even. Projecting all the horrors and evil your characters committed with gleeful pride. The joy of doing what you do regardless of dignity or law. As if those things held meaning in that world. You are free to unleash creativity, you are in control. The tracks harsh yet free tone inspires you to play again.

whups this is all three themes, my bad. still tho, my point stands, The song reminds you of the joy you get out of the game. how twisted it can be, and how it provides such a healthy excape from IRL. my point is the song reminds you of good times. which is where the good feel comes from.
