thanks for clearing up that rumor about Zumanjaro. great update as usual. Request for you--with so many improvements at the property, could you stick in a "before" and after--thinking especially about the the casa casadilla place repaint and rebrand, the superman sign, merry go round, etc.... They seem to be doing a lot of painting and refreshing things, trying to remember what they looked like before. Know you've got probably the best footage over time!!
Been going there since 1980, loved it so much. Miss some of the old coasters, but loving the updated from you. Thank you!

Went there with my family back in mid April. I’m so glad they finally redecorated the food court section because when I was there, the signs were completely blank. I do wished they dumped the “movietown” name and changed it to Gotham city or whatever.
Very disappointed about Skull Mountain. I was really hoping they would add more props and restore the original theming. Hoping the park hears the criticisms as I 100% agree with your thoughts. It doesn’t feel like Skull Mountain anymore
At 21:55, it looks like Toro barely slows down over the airtime hill.
I have some mixed thoughts right now. I’ll start with the positives. Love the new lion statue. So much better then the temporary one. The 50 topiary’s look great. Every vlog they have been making improvements to the hero and villain food places which is nice. So you said skull mountain is like summer vibes skull mountain. I agree and I wish they went back to the way it originally was but I don’t dislike it either.
So now the negative part which is a bit lengthy:
Ride closures: I am very glad to hear that Zumanjaro is only closed for a few weeks instead of the whole season. I know it doesn’t usually get a big line but it is still one of the best rides in the park. So I don’t really agree with closing it. I’m not sure where the whole budget cuts rumor came from. Regardless there’s still too many things that are closed. Houdini isn’t opening for fright fest and I don’t see the skyway opening this year. The entirety of frontier adventures is closed, cyborg, and the Giant wheel are also closed. Yes, I know frontier adventures being closed off is for the log flume which I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since this could have been a last minute thing like flash and there’s a lot of work to be done. And of course cyborg is closed for flash construction but there’s just too much stuff that’s closed right now.
Bad operations: When I mean bad operations I’m talking about the coasters not running at their full capacity. Usually for April things start off slow and I’ve always given them a pass. But now we are in may and there’s not much improvement on this front from what it seems. I’m not sure exactly what the holdup is but as the weather gets nicer then this will turn into a bigger problem.
I of course think it will be a great 50th but they’re off to a slow start.
The ride ops try there best give

JD has been on 1 train due to some block brake issue hence why it was closed the past 2 weeks with no activity. As for other rides, that’s probably a lack of maintenance workers that are able to get these trains up and going for these coasters.
Nitro has 3 trains that they can run as does JD, Toro only has 1 train stationed, no sign of the other train, Ka is on 2 trains usually, Skull is 2 trains, idk about Superman and Green lantern but since they opened them earlier than anticipated I can see that for why they’re on 1 train. Batman should be on 2 trains by now.
I do get your point though but I would honestly put it on the fact that the park opened in March. If it wasn’t ready then don’t open it.

All fair criticisms. I think that by July 1st the park should be back to full
operations, along with all the new additions!

They NEED to give Ka the Zamperla Treatment and add that spike. It would outdo top thrill 2 and from the looks of it so far at Cedar Point it's turning out to be a huge success plus we might get a smoother ride experience for the worlds tallest coaster. They would also take the title from CP as the worlds largest tripple launch coaster.

How do guys always manage to ride a marquee attraction 13-17 times on a Saturday and fit in all the others?
i saw you guys on batman, but i was too scared to approach y'all
I was attending opening day at Cedar Point! Top Thrill 2’s line was 3+ hours long and there were several delays but they were not too long. Same with today. Coasters are not meant to operate an entire day without experiencing some interruptions.

Great adventure in my opinion has the better coaster lineup than magic mountain , magic mountains operations are awful one time I was going for a nice Saturday and then I realized everything is closed even the kids rides and this was 3:00 so I waited for an hour then scream opened and we went to it boom never mind it broke down like I just wasted 50$ on walking around the park. My point is flash is gonna add a lot to the lineup
if the rides are closed to shuffle around workers, that is a budget cut.i hope to see them open back up for the summer season
Yes and No. You also got to factor in the fact that the park doesn’t even have the staffing to open all these ride yet because College finals are this month. Especially in June, that’s when you’ll see a big spike in ride operation activity
They don’t have all their normal College workers or the international workers, so it’s more lack of workers

@@ARMProducts1120I don't know about that. In all my years, I have never seen them have a deficit in employees. I've visited the park nearly every year since the late 90's. They typically have a ridiculously insane number of applicants - all ages and walks of life and they never had to turn off rides to usher employees around from ride to ride before.

There was a sign in front of Zumanjarp towards the middle of this video. What did it say?

We rode skull mountain on Saturday and they played club music. Not a fan of the new skull mountain. Does not sync with scary mountain theme.
The lion got replaced? I remember seeing it last Friday and I got a picture of it. It’s sad that it wasn’t there for a long period of time.

Definitely like the re-theaming that's going on in MovieTown. Never made sense to me why there was a random quesadilla / Mexican food place in the middle of the Batman / DC area.
While I do like the re-theming to hero and villain; I kind of wish they were actually using DC IP / theming instead of just generic hero and villain imagery.
Perfect opportunity/location to use some more theming.
Legion of Doom bar, Gotham City grill. Arkham asylum eating area. etc. Titans Tower patio. And have a bunch of teen Titans imagery inside the eating area etc.
Also that's definitely not Superman holding a hot dog. Just a generic random hero gloved hand.

Six Flags should get rid of Justice League and the Dark Knight and bring back Batman and Robin the Chiller with LSM technology
Flash pays pretty good homage to Chiller without removing any attractions, which I see as a win-win!
@@ColiwoodStudios no you never rode the chiller you wouldn’t understand that was the best ride in the park and they can bring it back with reliable LSM’s you even said Justice League is very glitchy now I’d rather see a The Chiller back as a dueling shuttle coaster in that area now that would pay homage to the Chiller just like the way they brought back dream street
If you’re willing to donate the money to do all that I’m sure the park will consider it! Otherwise I can’t see that happening.

At about 6:05 in the video. Was that foghorn Leghorn to the right of Wiley Coyote? The camera angle and fountain made it hard to tell.

Right..why remove the zumanjaro sign if it's reopening in 3 weeks...there was nothing wrong with that sign. Tango and jolly Rogers signs are still up though .

I heard rumors there could be changes coming to Kingda Ka next year. Have you heard this? Could it be possible it gets the Top Thrill treatment? While I think it would be cool, I think it would make more sense to leave Ka as it is, since Six Flags and Ceder will be merging. Both can offer a different experience.

There are no plans to do that as of now.
Hey! I need some help from fellow amusement park enthusiasts! I live in Pennsylvania and I’m about an hour and 15 minutes away from Philly. I was maybe planning to take my dad to either Knobeles or Six Flags Great Adventure in the summer. I want people’s opinions. Which do you think is better? I’m trying to do it based on what the bigger roller coaster selection is.

What's your all time high score on justice league? Mine's around 440k

All directional boards pertaining to the skyway have been removed. Not likely that it opens this year
