my epson workforce wont scan to computer without usb
is this printer wireless only? is it possible to connect this printer to a laptop with a usb cable?

Yes, just did it. You go to the WiFi setup on the printer and choose the icon at the bottom. Pretty easy to use.

Anyone know how to getthe scanner to work without USB?
You'll need to install the print driver on your devices and connect to the printer via the wizard. Next time you scan, you'll have the option to scan to your device name other than USB connection.
I did connected through wizard but still ask USB….it’s rubbish unit.
Just installed WF2830. Won’t scan wirelessley. Asks for USB connection. Anyone know if this is a fault?

Whenever I turn the printer off my WiFi disappears I then have to input the WiFi password again. Is there setting I can use where it saves the WiFi password? Thanks.

@@Dynjoar197 basically there was an update which I just recently installed and that has fixed the issue. Check to see if you have latest software...
We don’t have modem or WiFi router, we only have cellphones and tablets... it is compatible to us?

I bought this printer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi
Who r u, rico, a bot? This epson is not easy to get working. I keep getting the message my pc doesn't see the printer, and I followed the instructions. I'm pissed beyond a doubt.
