Ending 1: Red keeps on feeding mini imposter human flesh for the rest of their lives.
Ending 2: Red has killed so many crewmates that he's starting to feel the weight of the guilt. Mini imposter keeps on growing but shows no sign of recovering his human side. Red finally accepts that this was no longer his son. The day he got infected, all that was once human were replaced by a monster. Red has come to terms with what he needs to do. He has to kill him. He carries him, heading to the vacuum hatch. He sets up the timer that would send them both into space where they shall die together. They're now floating in space. In a few minutes, both of their suit's oxygen supply will run out.
Red: This is all my fault. . .

You know what the saddest thing is?
The impostors are actually shape shifting parasites, meaning blue could've just infected baby red, meaning baby red isn't baby red or "corrupted", but is the original impostor itself
I actually like to think about it as like an Alien. The "original" Imposter is the Facehugger and human host at the same time.
When you would do anything for your son, not excluding using your teammates as food.

Ok this is legit the most dramatic thing I have ever seen.
A dad, simply trying to do his job so his kid can have a good life, has his son nearly eaten alive. After having a close death encounter, both him and his son, he finds the son has changed. As a last resort, hoping that he can save just the bit of his son that's still in there, that loves him deep down, he's willing to change most of his ways and ethics just so his son can live a happy life. He would murder his friends and crewmates for his son's own good.
