almost never think of it beforehand! the fun thing about speedrunning this game is that you have to take advantage of whatever the current seed throws at you. there are tons of different categories and the fact that you never know what you might end up trying one run to the next is what makes it so fun!
In challenge runs like these I like to have a parachute so that my character doesn’t drop the item during the ending. Unfortunately the actual gameplay benefit of a parachute is not very good, so it’s not really worth it to look for one (especially in a speedrun)
We do have a meme run called Foodbank%, where you take an Eggplant to the overworld, which requires the Parachute! (Another parachute run is Basejump%, but that one just involves parachuting from the top to bottom of Yama's Throne)
Normally the moai head has a special hardness rating stopping bombs/plasma cannons from breaking it, but the ball n chain will crush ANYTHING if you angle it right
@@jjg27 oh, also, looking at he game files, there is a dialogue that says something like “it doesn’t fit!” So maybe if you try it, it’ll say that dialogue
You have the Book of the Dead from the City of Gold. In 4-4, when you are close to the Hell door, the book's mouth starts to move, and when you are right above the Hell door it's mouth moves very quickly.

What happens when you try to open the city of gold door with the GK? I always wander what happens if you try to open it with the GK
nothing happens. scepter is the only key that fits!
