Just an FYI, OHM tobacco for RYO cigarettes stores pretty well if left in the bag until needed, stored indoors and out of sunlight. I tend to place large orders for a lone smoker and I set a few bags aside to see how long the tobacco would stay smokable. 1-3 year old bags were fine and smoked/tasted normal. 4 year old bag was dry, but tasted okay. After I rehydrated with a damp paper towel left in the bag for a day, the tobacco smoked and tasted normal.
I smoke OHM Yellow, for what that's worth, and I tend to purchase enough for 6 months per order. I've been stuffing my own for over 10 years and would never go back to manufactured cigarettes.

@Maison Yes, to me, they taste better. You can try mixing strong and light tasting RYO tobaccos to get different tasting smokes. Takes trial and error, but you can dial in on your preference after a few tries. Manufactured cigarettes have chemicals that I can taste. Never noticed it when I smoked Camels because I was used to it, but after smoking RYO cigarettes for years, all manufactured cigarettes leave a strong chemical aftertaste.
Additionally, I can make a pack of 20 in under 5 minutes, which is less time than it would take to drive to the store to buy a pack. Because I have a good amount of tobacco and tubes, I never run out.
RYO is also much less expensive. A pack per day smoker in my area will spend $70.00 per week on manufactured cigarettes. A pack per day RYO smoker will spend $7.00-$9.00 per week, depending on the brand of RYO tubes and tobacco.

I always leave some air in folded down one-pound resealable bags, stays fresh to the end, and it really doesn't last that long to get too dry. Just make sure no loose tobacco is in the way when closing, or the bag can pop open.
I like trying different blends that the beauty of Roll Your Own!! I even have a Fresh Supply coming Thursday, Thanks Windy City for the Fast to west coast shipping!!

A straw in a ziplock bag. Seal the ends closed, put the straw in the center, breath in, and close ziplock bag at the same
time works great too! Air-tight now! Thank you! Great video!

Mr Brian I have a question, I'm new in pipe smoking, to be precise how long is the interval for each puff? Is it 10 seconds, 15, 20 or more?

What effects would refrigeration have on storing tobacco as in if you sealed it properly first, then store in the fridge?

Are you aware of how badly the service of your website orders has fallen off? You need to check into those operations.
