Toxic Rain Ballista Pathfinder League Starter is a lot of fun so far. It’s my first ever league so I’ve been learning a lot but the guides definitely help curb the learning side

Quick note: when you update the final PoB, be sure to put the Ascendancy points in the proper spots. Right now, you have no ascendancy points until the final (mi-game clusters) tree. I am assuming Nature's Reprisal first, and then Nature's Adrenaline + Master Surgeon for your final points in Acts. Great build guide, BTW.
In Plasteron's builds I trust for league start. I've done Ele Ballista, Caustic Arrow Ballista and it's been the smoothest league starts ever (along with Phox's RF which i've done when i had a bad wrist)
@@Croonerr I really loved it. it was the strongest build I've ever played. But covernant was a bit expensive for my style of playing. But if you know hot to make currency early: do it! you will not be disapointed.
@@raigom8691 You're right, I did the trickster version which was Ok, but was definetly lacking recovery as mentioned in the video (Pathfinder solves that problem). Really cool build indeed.
Following Palsteron everywhere he goes, from POE builds and strats to last epoch and Torchlight builds ... always QoL builds and starts, super cozy to play .. Love it ❤

If you scale the life recovery from flask enough you can offset de degen from Annihilation's Approach for permanent adrenaline. Hardened Scales helps with the 25% less damage over time taken. Also freeze and chill immunity for free on the boots.

I planned TR Pathfinder for like 2 weeks now, nice to see the ascendancy got even better. I do however plan to go Raider first i think, until i get my flasks and most gear in order, get some currency, , then just respecc to PF and push hard.
This is a really informative video. Thanks! I am using Ziz's build but his guide and notes don't really go over mitigation and as a result I'm running into t14s a little squishier than I should be. Thanks to your video I have a few things I think I can fix for defenses.
Hey Palsteron, check your mouse polling rate - I had the same FPS issues when I move my mouse really quickly and saw it in your video. Every game would tank down to 1FPS with quick movements, a razer mouse with 8KHz or 8000 polls per second isn't supported by most renderers, set it to 500 and it goes away.
Awesome build probably going to be one of the 3 I swap around in my head 45 time before leaguestart! One thing I didnt hear you mention, might be because it's a little speculative. However the league seems to be a stand in the circle so having pre set up balistas should annihilate the league mechanic pretty cleanly!
Question about the playstyle, if the idea is to drop ballistas and phase through mobs and let ballistas kill them, how do you pick up drops? Do you just go back after clearing the map?
Strict filter and just come back if something good drops, sound... In the early state, u have to play slower, wait a little bit more... but is almost the same as self attack toxic rain style.
I started this build a few days ago and it's a blast. I switched a day ago to Zizaran build and I had to inmediatly switch back to this because at least for now (lv 75 starting yellow maps) this one is so much stronger. The minions just dissapear from the map. I do have some issues with survavility when some monsters just oneshot me (still better than Zizaran) , but the dmg is crazy. I did make some changes inspired on the Zizaran build and changed the bow to a shortbow with +2 to bow skills; then moved all the chest gems to the bow and viceversa. I may also switch the chest since I dont have more space for resistances and the -60% lighting resistance is hurting a lot, switching both the bow and the chest may work because of the limitation of uniques in adding modifiers, and I may be a noob bot for example I can't see how much better the uniques bow and chest are compared to some good crafted gears (please tell me if I'm wrong so I can change back XD). Anyways, the build is amazing and I hope to see more updates for 3.22 and onwards!
How about this for slogan intro: "Hi It's your Pal, Palsteron!" and outro: "This is your Pal, signing out!" or something >_>. Also, great vid and solid league starter. I hope I'll be able to afford the Wilma helm. I do miss using Quill Rain. Ahhh man I gotta buy the toxic rain skill effect cosmetic huh? I can't stand looking at all that default green splashes.
Where do you fit in Despair with the addition of enlighten? I'm seeing: - 2 Six links - 4 Link CWDT (boots) - 4 Link Auras (gloves) - 2 Link Frenzy (helm) - Flame Dash, Vitality (helm) We would need an unset ring or maybe drop GMP from Frenzy? Edit: I noticed Blood Rage is there now too, so maybe drop the frenzy setup and just use blood rage for mapping to free up a socket? Who cares about bosses anyway.
When "I still dont have a slogan" - is your slogan :D About running past loot drops, I guess you will be yoyoing back and forth to pick it up? How far behind can PoE detect loot? Thanks for the great video, keep it up!
Hey man I know you know this already (because I remember you pointing it out in past videos) but just a reminder that once you switch into Wilma's, all the "on kill" effects (such as your phasing on kill small passives) no longer work. On the up side, any bonus if you haven't killed or crit recently will always be on.
Enemies killed by damage over time from totems do grant charges and on-kill effects. It takes 2 seconds to either test this in the game or read the wiki, but somehow, here you are.
How common of a drop is Wilma's? Planning to go SSF and I couldn't find a way to target farm it. You could chance it but the base had 4 different uniques that can be chanced, so it might be really difficult.

trying it for ancestor. 2 chaos for bow and hat. so far toxic with just normal gear is fun and spamming ballistas and yeeting around. cant wait to fire that fast brrrrrr
Very detailed and well explained video. I really want to start a Pathfinder to try the life flask tech and TR is the first contender. Just a question, i might have missed it in the video, but does the build have no bleed immunity/removal after we use Wilma's and can't have the bleed immune mastery?
i know this is a really old video but for people that don't know, they removed the attack speed mod from magic flasks dont waste your alts trying to get it lol.

Manaforged arrow and power charge on crit for frenzy is a god send... full frenzies and power charges up at all times just from using main attack

Ensnaring arrow with culling strike is a great combo by itself, on mirage archer looks really fun!!

The life reservation was only in the video since I showed off Champion, there won't be any reservation on the pathfinder!

noob question: with these kinds of dot builds, if you're running ahead of dying enemies, doesn't that prevent you from picking up loot?
Yeah, you have to run back to pick up loot so it's annoying.

You can get 100% uptime on a freeze/chill immune Diamond flask with all the duration/flask charge nodes also
Can probably get it on another flask (bismuth?) too
