These mowers started out in around 1980 as the “Grazer”. I have ended up with one of the original units that my neighbor bought new back then. It’s one of the original zero-turn mowers. Very tank-like in its construction. It’s awaiting my restorative touch at the moment. Great video. Thanks for posting.
I just purchased a (used) STS-23. I was cleaning it up and somehow got something in the fan area and when I went to us it the fan came apart. I did drive a little before that and I really love it so I have to get it working again. I love the flip up deck (electric) which is a blessing for me since I am an older guy. I then saw your video and it made me even more happy I purchase it. 1995 is a pretty old machine and it still looks great. I hope to get mine in that good of shape - not too much to do other than the fan replacement. Thanks for the video. Ed
If you ever have questions on parts etc. call hoover mowers in Benton KS. they still have some parts and are very knowledgeable on Zipper mowers. They dont make the parts anymore unfortunately
