Just picked one of these up. Looks perfect for getting rid of a pain in the butt X wife. I’m kidding of course I’m married 28 years and love my wife to death. 😂
Feels heavy like it’s well made. Just got two deer in the last three weeks so I needed this.

Congrats on the double haul. I debone all my meat and do a 20% pork fat mixture by hand after the first grind. Great for burgers or sausages.
Make sure the meat is chilled to almost freezing after cubing before you grind. Anything warmer than than and your meat will turn to paste. And chill the grinder components in your freezer before assembling to grind.

Is the lock supposed to be loose? I locked it but it seem like it’s loose and the grinder head came loose. Not sure if the machine supposed to be like this? Weird.

It should screw on tight. It may be cross threaded.

Same is happening to me. The lock doesn’t stay in the lock position. Also wondered if it is supposed to be like this. He doesn’t look to have this problem which tells me might be a defect.

A piece of good tape to keep it from vibrating loose while operating may be a quick fix?

Does it do well with leg quarters

Deboned and cubed up is the only way I grind. Bones are hard on a grinder, unless you have a professional Hobart that a meat processing plant uses.

    Will it grind chicken bones?

Thaks for the video. Question: do you think it would grind chicken and turkey bones? Thanks in advance.

m 11 your welcome. It seems pretty powerful. I debone all my meat. Never tried myself. Chicken bones tend to splinter. Hence the saying: never feed chicken bones to dogs. I’m not sure about turkey bones. Wish I could be of more help.
Are you trying to extract the marrow from the bones?

@@truckdrivinmilanr Thank you so much for the quick reply. Raw bones are recommended by vets for the specie appropriate diet or BARF diet -BARF stands for Biologically Appropriate Raw Food or Bones and Raw Food. Cooked bones in the other hand do splinter and are very dangerous and in a completely different state, it is never to be given, can kill a dog. There's a big difference between the two. I will definitely try this grinder. Thanks again!

@@user-dl5hs2ez9p Did you end up getting the grinder and tested it with bones? I'm also looking to switch over to the raw diet for my cat.

@@thedoctor2413 just saw your reply. Sorry for the delay. No, I’ve only processed deboned meat.

I just read some reviews on Google and quite a few said they do it and it does fine. I personally think it may dull the blades quickly though.
Edited : to add the people who were grinding the bones were to make dog and cat food.

Weston is a terrible company. Some products work ok +-. Their qc out of china is terrible. Good luck if you have a problem with a product down the road.

seriousorry I only use it once a year to process venison. I did get the extended free replacement warranty. The smaller plastic version didn’t look like it would hold up well after time. Thanks for watching.
