I think you randomly generated the Zendo palette’s moody older sister *insert emoji wearing a beret and smoking a cigarette* loved seeing you do this concept!! and I think hating the outcome is a rite of passage
It feels like it has the same problem as Zendo - a weird mix of cool and warm colors that don't really hang together. You could definitely do looks, but probably by color families. I do love some of the colors a lot - the blues, the red, jazzy.
I'd use it. It seems like a "For Work" type of palette. Probably would use the multichrome a lot and do alot of one shadow looks with those warm shimmers.
This was such a fun, creative and entertaining video. Especially with the expressions of frustration 🤣Literally died. I dislike the warm-peachy neutrals too so relatable, awaiting the looks you create from this!
Easiest look from this palette for me would be a neutral with black outer corner and vision on the lids, just an average easy multichrome look The hardest look would be combining that vibrant teal shade and the primary red, to do like a contrast look, which could go south, but maybe if i could put the bright teal all over the lid and do a smoky liner with the red, it could be good-ish... Like a red hibiscus against a retro teal wall (thats the inspiration at least)
Love this concept! I'm impressed that you were able to pick out most of these shades on the first try. I like the way you arranged the color story, too.
You know what, I think it looked quite nice when you swatched the shadows on your arm (but without the last 2 rows haha) :) This was so entertaining to watch! Thanks x
It's been a hot minute since I've seen someone do a randomly generated palette. Personally I think the final result is cohesive, kinda. Not the most exciting sure, but you can definitely make it work. If I had the chance to use it, I would pair the pink shades with the greens, because that's a combo I quite enjoy.
Oh dear, haha. That was fun to watch! I'd hate it same as you. I'd call this color story challenging. Not sure if it would live a week in my collection. I'd probably wear the pinks and blues for three, four days in a row until I went like, "yep that's all I'm gonna do with this" and admitted defeat. Great job bringing these shades into a color story that doesn't evoke the pure feeling of disgust!
LOL you described exactly how I want to interact with this palette. I love that idea! Depending on the randomly generated shades it could present a whole different kind of challenge lol. I definitely want to find a way to integrate that idea, thank you!!
I love that ND shadows are so easy to rearrange. I've rearranged mine in a way that makes sense to me so that way I use them more. I'm curious to see what looks you come up with.
I love your content!!! I have been following you on IG for quite a bit and a couple weeks ago when the sugar and spice palette came out, I really was attracted to the shade basil but the last thing I need in my life is another eyeshadow palette, so I started looking at all of your Instagram content to see if maybe I already have that shade or if there was a swatch I could find that was similar and then just buy one shade then I discovered you had a TH-cam and now I’ve literally been watching all of your videos, I’m obsessed!! Your content is so fun to watch. I love content that stimulates me to play with the makeup I already have rather than buy more. I just picked up your ice blink shade I can’t wait to get it. PS, can you think of any possible dupes for the shade basil from the sugar and spice palette?

😂😂 I like it! Those colors go well together

Oohh I didn’t see it at first but you’re right!! It’s like 50% work friendly and 50% chaos 🤣
I would love to see those similar shades together
Accidentally digging into a shade with the tool...I felt that😅😵
LOL it happens way too often😅
I loved this !

Thank you!!! I was impressed with myself too 🤣
“I’ve seen worse things in my life.”
🤣
I think it looks really nice.
Okay but if this was a real ND palette I’d totally want it. It’s like a punched up version of Cpop’s So Fly palette.
You know what, I think it looked quite nice when you swatched the shadows on your arm (but without the last 2 rows haha) :) This was so entertaining to watch! Thanks x
LOL exactly - I would have loved it as a 9 pan. Thank you!! 🥰

OOH yes I definitely want to do a look with the pastel pink and tealish greens, thank you!!
