Thanks for your videos. It is a very useful way to train listening for those who are beginning to learn svenska, as myself. Right now I understand about 40% of what you say and that is quite good for me, because I started from zero and do not know any germanic languages. I speak all four big roman languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian) and English, but zero Swedish. I started intensively around 1 month ago and your channel helps me a lot on this initial process. Hopefully in some months I will be able to understand 80%! I find your classes always entertaining and fun .. your Swedish pronunciation is very clear, and helps me bridge the gap between the written syllables of each word, and how they sound when spoken, at various speeds. I’m loving the new format. Thank you so much for all that you do. I feel like this is a much more interesting way to learn Swedish. I also felt like I learned a lot more than Swedish, including how to train and also I’m sorry to hear about the joints.
I found it helpful to imagine "det finns" as "there exists," which makes the sentence sound kind of archaic when you directly translate it, but the meaning seemed closer than simply trying to remember that there are 2 ways to say "are/is." "It is cold outside" could never be "it exists cold outside," but "There is a snowman outside" could technically be "There exists a snowman outside." Granted, there exist many other verbs for observing an object, ligger, står, etc.

Jag älskar dina videoer. Nu förstår jag mesta meningarna utan undertitler. Kunde du skriva några nya ord som man inte använder så ofta på din nästa video? Till exempel "Backofen" (på Tyska) ... Jag ser fram att titta på din nästa video. Ha det bra!
