I'm so happy small pigeon get to shine as lead singer every now and then. This song is so passionate and fits very well with Miku's voice and register. If you listen to this song at the Christmas Acoustic you will get what I'm trying to say here. With MISA, Akane and Miku it's a very naked version were Miku's voice shines even more than in the electric version. Kobato is a very capable singer in her own right, but she chose Saiki as lead singer for Band-Maid because she wanted a lead singer with a stronger voice. I'm so happy she found Saiki ❤❤ Po.
Together they have a unique blend that is virtually impossible to imitate. You know when it's BAND-MAID!
Sayonakidori acoustic is my "official" favorite Band-Maid song.

MISA comes in good on this, IMO
Miku is a wonder at promotion and non musical entertainment and has developed in a skilled guitarist but , bless her, you can see how right they were to get Saiki
Undoubtedly Saiki is a better singer than Miku, not because she has a better voice but because her voice is practically perfect for their songs, yet, who knows why, Sayonakidori is one of the fan favorites ever 😉
The thing to remember it was Miku who chose to recruit another singer. She is as wise as she is crazy, like that never went together before...

@@TwinTailSteve I was being sarcastic. I fuc*ing love Miku's vocals and I find that the band would work exactly like now, just adapting the songs to her voice, and this song is proof of that, sung by Saiki would not be the same. In fact Sayonakidori is my favorite song ever.

@@TwinTailSteve Sir I respect your stand. Most of my life I have been a classical opera devotee and had, for a few years, high level access to La Scala Milan. That sir is singing and much as I love Miku and Saiki who has such stage command and a superb rock voice to say nothing of the acoustic offerings, the voice of a trained opera singer is light years above both of them. Miku sings with passion I agree but she is struggling a lot of the time. Listen to the Queen of the Night aria by Mozart where the soprano reaches flat F and you will hear the difference.
