I got a 92 Astro 4.3 that I was gonna swap to a 305, was curious if the 4.3 transmission would be able to hold up temporarily as long as it’s not getting dogged

Difference between 4l60 for 4.3 and 4l60 for v8 is one more clutch into 3-4 pack and bigger area of 2nd servo
It can be overrided by installing shift kit into 4.3 4l60 valve body that increases pressure and installing bigger 2nd servo such as vette servo or so
