I think that the universe indifferent to my point of view. The fewer desires you have the happier you are? What is good for the hive is good for the bee? What is good for the collective is good for the bee? The happiness of the many outweighs both the happiness of the few and the one. From each according to his ability to the many.Billionares can be effective altruistic. The more money they donate the more effective will be their altruism. It is the consequences that trump the reasons for their donation.
