Hi, I have a doubt in 3*3 matrix pouches set, How were you sure in the beginning only that in a particular column of a row the 3 pouches would be containing minimum as well as max coins in a pouch for eg in row 1 column 1 2, ,4 why not 4,4,4 or 2,2,2 ... Do we need to check these possibilities as well?
Read the CLUES Very carefully it says that the questions prepared by the teachers are consecutive in numbers so if D has prepared 10 it has to prepare 11 in MT and in ET it has prepared 1 so it has to prepare 2 also.
In the pouch question, I am not able to make out where in the question it says that the sum of a particular row/column has to be a multiple of 9. Please help And also how come we directly assumed the maximum and minimum numbers to be actually one of them.
The average of nine pouches of any row or column has to be an integer. Total pouches in any row or column=9, only way possible to get the average as integer is to make total a multiple of 9.

In any column the average is an integer, so total in the 9 pouches should be a multiple of 9
