There's some very interesting projects. I remember that when I was about 13 y.o., I bought a book about PBY Catalina aircrafts, a rare apparition in books world of the communist era of Romania. "Cavalerii pisicilor negre ataca" ("Knights of the Black Cats Attack"), by Richard C. Knott (I might still have it somewhere in the house), unfortunately I cannot remember anything (more than 35 years since then). I think it was about the Pacific war and missions of those pilots. I read a few short stories of the "Black Cats" in the Pacific it was very informative. These Kits will keep me busy over the winter and add to my collection of aircraft hanging from my ceiling. Hi Michael, my workstation was a real mess but I knew where things were in amongst the rubbish. Now its a bit better organised I finally have all my tools to hand. I have wanted a PBY for some time and am looking forward to building it in the winter. Its good there are still some flying it shows how well they were built and maintained. Hi Al, I will be messing up my work station very soon with my next Loco restoration. I am not the tidiest worker so its going to help having my tools in order for a change. My aircraft builds are for January and February so will sweep up before then. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
I like your workstation set up Paul, very organised. When I clean mine up it's like Christmas finding stuff I forgot I had. I will be interested to see your progress in building the models mate, they will add to the impressive dogfight hanging from your ceiling. Steven.
Hi Steven, My workstation was a real mess so I decided to spend time adding more shelving and putting my tools and things within easy reach instead of in boxes and drawers. I will build the aircaft in Jan and Feb inbetween the odd Loco project. I need to re-position a number of my Aircraft to make space for these new ones. On Sunday I will show a rare Loco that is also my oldest one. I will be starting a complete restoration of a Diesel Loco with my Nephew later next week, I am really looking forward to this one.
