Comparing insulation under beehive lid, Part 1

We'll compare standard Reflectix insulation with Sealtech 10mm reflective insulation on a group of 22 overwintered nucs.

👍Yep that sounds like it'll work well. I took some of the Reflectix and added it to a Pig Mat Brad absorbent pad, it's similar to what your doing with the 2nd. Thanks for sharing, BlessedDays...

Interesting--so with the combination of the absorbent pad, are you trying to increase the R value or thinking about moisture?
