Been feeling very stuck and stagnant these past three years or so. Then randomly one of my favorite bands announced a tour with a show in my hometown (which is a small town so I was quite shocked). The show is on Saturday, and I'm both anxious yet really excited to go. I haven't been to a concert or anything like that since 2019. Also been feeling like a big change is coming for about the past six months or so, it's hard to explain. I definitely have been hiding in my "cave" all the time and never really get out unless I have to. Also I've been like... physically unable to even look at some of my college assignments. But here she is - at a point where most people would give up on all their dreams - and she embraces the inevitable, deciding it's her god-given right to truly live for just a little bit and do things most will never take the time to do. In the process, strangers are acknowledging her light, and when they hear »why« she's finally doing things for herself, she doesn't want the pity, of course. But these new people recognize her humility and selflessness even more as she keeps her head up through her struggles and shines even brighter for her last bit of time on this Earth. And then... Been feeling very stuck and stagnant these past three years or so. Then randomly one of my favorite bands announced a tour with a show in my hometown (which is a small town so I was quite shocked). The show is on Saturday, and I'm both anxious yet really excited to go. I haven't been to a concert or anything like that since 2019. Also been feeling like a big change is coming for about the past six months or so, it's hard to explain. I definitely have been hiding in my "cave" all the time and never really get out unless I have to. Also I've been like... physically unable to even look at some of my college assignments.
