This is absolutely ridiculous from Facebook. Why even allow us to use music if it's not monetizable. At least provide copyright free music we can all use then. Please can you help me on how do I disable potential ads on individual reels? I just got accepted to the program but now I'm seeing these warnings everywhere. I don't want to lose monetization because of Facebook's own flaws! At this stage I am considering deleting the videos but it would suck because some of them have millions of views :/
Can my monetization now be disabled because of old music I used in reels that Facebook gave us access to? I'm worried now. I've waited so long to get ads on reels and I'll be gutted if they disable monetization for there own issues. I checked Creator Studio and majority of my videos have warnings and alerts that say "The video cannot be monetized" and some videos have 2 alerts with "The video is muted". I don't mind not making money from them going forward but surely they won't disable me for using music that they provided! This is insanity.
It’s crazy! You can disable the ads on reels before you post it. But after you post it you can’t undo it. I agree that they should offer copyright free music. It’s not our fault that the music becomes copyrighted. Some of my reels have muted sound and I’m fine with that, as long as I’m still getting paid. The reels that are demonetized because of ads I deleted them.
@@IAmCynMarie thanks CynMarie. Yeah I just deleted a million views worth 😭 it hurt but I don't want no drama down the line. Those alerts were giving me anxiety. It's okay though, I'm gonna reupload and maybe a few pop off again but this time they're making me some bank 🙏

I got ads on reels 2 weeks ago and all the reels that i posted for a long time that i dont have yet my ads on reels has copyrighted

Hello. I started getting a 150k+ views in my reels, but FB decided to restrict my monetization due to a copyright. I removed the video already but I still see the message and it does not seem like I'm back in the program as I was a year ago (even though I reapplied a month ago for it). It still shows I am restricted. I also saw a message below that one saying that, apparently, I had shared unoriginal content... Does anyone know how to fix this? I've looked for answers for a week or two now, message meta, appealed, tried to read every single word in their lame articles, but I got no answers.... nothing... it's frustrating because I am getting tons of views in my videos.

To clarify… if the video has copyrighted music that Fb doesn’t have rights to, we can’t make money on ads on reels. But if we enable ads, we could still make bonus play money?

Great video. With the ads on reels do you get that payout the same time as the bonus payout? I got paid my bonus payout but my ads on reels is still saying processing.

Don't know if this is new but recently I had a reel where the music got taken away and IG asked me if I wanted to replace it and actually gave me an option to.
Because I post reeks directly from IG to FB, that also changed the FB one too.

I have a question and I'm hoping you could give some insight. I have a huge following, currently 170k with videos over 1M views. I have no content or monetization violations, but I still haven't gotten invited to ads on reels. It's been reviewed and declined, just saying that I am not eligible for other monetization tools besides what I already have, (bonus, stars, instream ads, and subscriptions). I was told back in May 2023 that it was a bug, but I've never gotten a resolution. Could this be because I have background music, not from FB library, on my reels? Is that why I don't have ads on reels invite?

I received an invitation from Facebook for ads on reels, and after accepting, I received a notification that the reel's video could not be monetized. Will I lose my money? I have a reel with over a million views. I block the advertisements to see what happens, and the views continue to rise. I had no issues when I enabled the ads
When you use ads on reels they don’t really allow the music. The good thing is with ads on reels they let you know immediately if you can monetize or not. So once you see that you can’t take that reel down and re-post without the music.

I posted a video on Insta with a famous artist they didn't block it I posted the same video on facebook reels it was blocked. This is because videos on facebook reels are monetized and unlike those on Instagram reels ?

in my case a month a go I deleted all videos with bg music and turned off my pro mode for a day and when I turned it on they I instantly get back my ads in reels.
Im a praise dancer and i dance to the sounds in their library. So every video will be restricted? Is there a workaround for this or is this my reality?
The music is fine if you don’t have ads on reels enabled.

Hey!!! You have to find out which reels are the issue and delete them. Then appeal!

Several people have stated they were restricted for using their own music. If you using pictures, make sure they are moving. The real has to be constantly moving the whole time. You can put your picture on there, but have you on there moving. Basically use your picture as your background.

Facebook doesn’t like when we use music with their ads. The good thing about ads is, it will let you know as soon as you post if you can use it or not.

The pay period ends on the 30 or 31 of each month. So whatever you made that month before the 30, you will get on the 21st.
