While I agree the apple isn't calligraphy everything else in the video is arabic calligraphy. Which can sometimes be really obscure and hard to read even for native speakers as it can be made to look like something (like the one made to look like a butterfly) The other reason these can be hard to read is because a brush stroke (letter/word) may be repeated for aesthetic reasons. I guess it's kinda like taking the word "water" and writing it as "wwatttter" in order to make the calligraphy more beautiful. I hope that makes sense... Sorry I didn't mean to ramble.

Musicat For the first 2 videos you put down water in the shape you want it to be in. Then you take a dropper filled with whatever color of watercolor you want and drop it into the water; it does what the second one did. For the 1st one you would need a really thin dropper. For the rest of them you just take a slanted piece of wood dipped in watercolor and paint with the slant flat on the paper.
