Nice clip from my fave hockey movie. Had to laugh. Yrs ago I was Edmonton covering a race when Paul Newman showed up. "Reggie, Reggie" was what he heard throughout the day. Not "Paul" Ah, gotta' love the Canucks, not the hockey team. Been contemplating about buying these cards. Didn't realize they came in bulk like a hanger. Still not sure if I want these. It's nothing spectacular, but it's also only $50 USD. You can't buy two blaster boxes for that, and there's a chance at an auto. So...I don't know. I won't buy anymore of them, however.
Pretty embarrassing how Upperdeck has changed since 2017, or at least in the way of double standards. The Leafs Centennial set blows this straight out of the water, and I hate the Leafs, lol.
Meh .... I appreciate your introducing us to this set. I find it underwhelming at best. These inserts are horrible. I'd rather purchase some '71 ex cards. Purchasing this has nothing to do with what kind of Bruins fan you are or how much you like them! That statement was a reach at best. Your reaction to the set was seemingly underwhelming too. At least from your rather unexcited manner. This product is weak. Upper Deck has become the most boring design lazy azzed card company for Hockey. For me, their most interesting, likeable card lately has been the Dazzlers.
@@justhockeycards Yep....Love em. What else has Upper Deck done that is worthwhile? Some of this years inserts are better....but don't blow the doors off. The bursts are nice. Yep love me some Dazzlers. I wish Pacific could make a comeback. At least they were completely different if not a bit over the top......added balance to this UD monopoly of boredom.
I agree with both of you the 16 bit are beauty cards and so are dazzlers I find myself collecting each year of dazzler but this set is very underwhelming probably most because I'm a leafs fan boys so f**k Boston..... sorry lol

In my opinion, the 16-Bit inserts from Allure are the coolest card they have made in a long time.
